@Black Convoy may I also get a news credit? I posted the video review in the Netflix Ironhide and Cheetor thread two hours prior to this thread's existence.

 

I mean, it's not the best, but it's still a Quintesson army builder so I'm getting two. If he wasn't Quintesson affiliated I might not have even bothered, that's how much I love the Quintessons. Nice move Hasbro, I'm just gonna call this a "Mark I Gaurdminder" with Black Roritchi being the "Mark II Gaurdminder".

It's a shame this design didn't get a new head sculpt. In any case though, it's a pass for me. I have no attachment to this Quintesson Guard - not interested in the Netflix series, and I have Allicons and the upcoming Sharkticons for Quintesson generics. If the deco of the figure itself was particularly good, I might have been interested, but it's not.

Yeah, I'm definitely with you here on the battle damage, and I'm someone who also liked it in Siege.

Oh well, at least it looks better than that Barricade repaint.

Hey, see exactly what I was gonna say! Yeah, unless I see it on clearance, I'm not too interested. And then, I'll admit, mostly I'd want it for the weapons. I'd probably consider it more if it'd been the Earthrise mold, since I didn't get either Ratchet or Ironhide in that.

I didn’t think there was a market for people that wanted to recreate the Netflix series. The rusted zombie figure also baffles me. Great for those that like them.

I don’t think anyone in their right mind would oppose that idea. It’s a good suggestion and one they could theoretically shoehorn into Generations Selects. It would give the mold another use, but I could see Hasbro not even bothering. They don’t always shoot for the obvious redeco/retool opportunities, which can be maddening at times. I mean, we got several Diaclone MP cars, yet no Diaclone Ironhide or Deep Cover. But I think a lot of that is due more to budgetary constraints than anything else.
