G1 -Season 2

This is where Transformers really hit their stride.

 

Beast Wars S3 by far! If that doesn't get your blood pumping, check your pulse because you're probably dead!

The intro for The Rebirth is a very close second, it's got that exotic 80s kitsch plus higher quality animation than the G1 season 3 intro.

 

TRANSFORMERS EVO

 

Transformers Victory has an awesome theme song.

I also like Animated's theme quite a lot, and all three G1 theme songs are great, if only for nostalgia.

Rescue Bots has a pretty good theme song as well.

 

The G1 Season 2 intro, with the Autobot/Decepticon logos flying through space to Earth, the epic theme track and the robots clashing in the Tron background.

 

For English openings I have to say Prime. Both versions of that theme song are so good, beautifully epic.

For Japanese openings it's easy: Animated. Jam Project went in on making it such a badass Shonen-style tune that I never would've thought I'd hear in Transformers. I wish more songs like this were made for the Japanese shows, it's just so hype & energizing.

 

I agree that the Japanese Animated opening is the bomb!

I also love the Masterforce OP, something about it feels like good nostalgia to me.

 

Transformers Evo, because that opening is way more epic than Animated deserves. That's not a knock on Animated, that's saying that Evo was freaking insane. It deserves to be the opening of a Tengan Toppen Gurren Lagann-style Transformer series.

 

For me, I'm going RID2015, especially Season 2 with the expanded Autobot group shot. The music is really slick and I like it when an opening runs through members of the cast with a splash of their names. Runners-up would be Animated and G1 Season 2.

 

My favourite will be always G1 S1.. the beginning.
But the rest of G1 music is very close and I love it all. I love the main theme is very catchy and it was what made me back to the tfs and being here.
And overall, tfs music of any era and series is just amazing! 

 

G1- Masterforce. It is just the best song out there for transformers!

Headmasters would be second best.

Then Zone.

Animated's Japanese intro was more awesome than it had any right to be

 

The Masterforce song and Ignition are two of my favorites too. I'll also throw in the catchy theme (at least IMO) for "Transformers Zone"

Transformers Cybertron: The absolute passion the singers put into the theme song is amazing coupled with the neat visuals. I totally believed our worlds are in danger.

Transformers G1 season 3: Is catchy.

Transformers Armada: On the tune alone it’s here. It’s upbeat theme is more up my alley in music and just unlocks some nostalgic memories for me as a fan.

Transformers Animated Japanese opening: Amazing visuals. Awesome song. Just great all around.

 

This is my pick. I always loved the frumpy horn and the way they constantly are moving the camera and characters are popping in and out. It's just so good.

My second choice has gotta go to Beast Machines

 

I'm a sucker for the Japanese openings for the Sunbow Cartoon, Beast Wars II and Neo, Animated and TFP!

 

My favorite intro tune for a show is TF Animated, it got me pumped for the show the most.

My favorite intro of all is Transformers The Movie 1986 though. Electric Guitar and drums baby!

 

I'm surprised that nobody here mentioned "CALL YOU... Kimi to Boku no Mirai" (Galaxy Force Opening 1) and "Transformers ~Kōtetsu no Yūki~" (Micron Legend opening 2）yet...

Both of Micron Legend's endings aren't too shaby either, especially "Don't Give Up!!".
