Is the entirety of the green painted? Or is it bare plastic?

I've also noticed a number of vehicle mode shots with the doors and roof slightly misaligned. Is this a common issue with the figure, or is it just more a case of not noticing?

I've already done a decent amount of custom paint on my official one, and trying to decide if it's worth buying this one, and still having to source the appropriate Autobot decals.

 

It's kinda funny that this is getting nit-picked for missing paint when the original look so unfinished.

I was so unhappy with the MPM reveal, it's why I didn't bother buying it, the price was especially bad given how it looked.

This KO is the only reason I was able to buy an MPM ratchet, because this actually looks like it's finished.

Very little of the green isn't painted. I used alcohol to clean up some black paint, and it affected the green surface of the vehicle as it usually affects painted surfaces. I think the only green plastic that isn't painted is the inside of the vehicle shell parts and maybe one or two robot mode pieces.

 

Was looking at getting the Official and didn't even know this was a thing until i saw it on the mpm-11 thread! looks amazing!!! Hasbro needs to step up their paint game big time.

 

Thanks guys. Went ahead and put in an order with Show Z. Also out in an order of those decals from TaoBao...hope I did everything right with that, definitely a bit challenging to figure out.

 

Maybe it’s just me or the photos don’t do it justice compared to in-hand, but why is everyone saying the KO Ratchet is green? It looks very yellow to me on every display I have.

 

Well, to me it looks more like some kind of lime green. Bumblebee is definitely yellow though.

Just noticed some paint chips on the right arm and it looks like they used silver primer there.

 

Silver primer? Considering most painted figures eventually chip one way or another, this is actually genius, like self applying battle damage  

 

Starting to wonder if some of us might be partially color blind or need to calibrate our displays...
Or perhaps this is another lesson in the high level of subjectivity in all of these discussions  

 

It's the blue and black / white and gold dress situation all over again.

I guess I might be in the minority, there was no smell on mine when I took it out of the box.

 

I would agree he is mustard yellow in most lighting, though in darkness he begins to shift a little further towards green.

I think mine had a slight smell for a while but it wasn't any more overpowering than any other 3P figure I've recently opened.

 

Probably a long shot, but anyone willing to part with one of the missile pieces?

 

I ordered mine from Aliexpress before cny and it was shipped very quickly. I was ready to get the figure before the end of February as the tracking showed it was in my country but nothing.
I searched a little bit and found it landed in Belgium, Liege Hub. Which is well known for being extremely slowly or not shipping at all. Hope to see him someday or I'll have to ask for a refund and then order again....

 

For those missing missiles, has anyone had luck receiving after sales support? I figure if they didn’t plan to pack both of them inside the box it’s kinda the manufacturer’s fault and they should be providing the replacements.

Ordered mine off of a local seller and I couldn't get another missile piece, him & his supplier didn't know about the added piece either. So yea if anyone is willing, I'd buy the piece off of you

 

Bummer about the missile. How's the sperm coating though? Is it durable?
