Ok so it's not perfect by any means, but I've really surprised myself with how I've been able to recover the damage I did to this kit.

And not in a "holy crap how good am i?" way, but more of a "I can't believe that paint not only matched so well but also covered everything with no issues" kinda way.

All I've really got left to do is minor detail work on the thighs with a paint marker and it will be done.

Oh, and I might swap out that CBB Streetwise for CW Prowl. This particular KO is riddled with paint bleed and doesn't tab together worth a shit. The other KO's have been pretty good though.

Old custom recipe I came up with years ago back when I used to do "hack and chop" custom figures. Motormaster lower body fitted to an Onslaught/Hot Spot mold upper body. Waist swivel and better proportions.

Man I love the truck torso's "power thighs" - PC-04 really illustrated for me how to turn that into a beaut
Awesome to see them ferried around to others

Thanks! They won't be painted, but they'll be printed in their primary base colors. They are meant to replace the torsobots for combined mode as a more stable and functional base for the combiner, in addition to a more cartoon look for anyone into that style.

All torso molds are considered unique with heavy retooling. No limb molds repeated more than twice.

And no shared headsculpts either. Your Computron isn't reusing heads from Defensor or Bruticus.

Catching back up on this thread, I saw a lot of people saying if only we got all these guys released at wfc price and engineering. But in honesty I don't see that big of a gap. The CW deluxe has to do 4 modes not just convincingly but functionally solid as well. The CW deluxe then also had TWO accessories for each deluxe, one being the HFG. Its a compromise sure but it's got FOUR parts in it. Most of ER and K has a single plastic piece for an accessory. lastly there is a combiner plug. These things are the magic sauce that let's the combiner exist in the first place and frankly I haven't seen a ton of 3P companies improve the design. It's got many little parts in there to get the two way ratchet to work. If you take that out and take out the necessity of a limb mode and dump all that back into the figure then you are darn close to to any wfc figure for an MSRP significantly lower. Great pictures all around!

Side note: qc has definitely improved however. At least half my prime wars figures needed some floor polish. I've only had to touch a few of my wfc joints.

agree whole heartedly. The WFC line has had its ups and downs (just like the Prime Wars Line) but I’m not convinced that every figure in that line is ‘overall better’ than what came before. The the FOC line and then first wave of thrilling 30 just after it to me seemed like a low point in terms of quality, plastic, engineering, and weight of the figures (and yes there are a few exceptions) for where the franchise was. The first wave of Combiner wars reversed that trend drastically with their more girthy deluxes and voyagers. Admittedly, the majority of the leader class of CW left something to be desired.

    YMMV

I would do unspeakable things in an alley behind a dumpster in front of Spawn and the Violator for that add on kit. It’s the only I wasn’t able to get.
