It's one thing to not be a fan of the new BW comic's art.

It's another thing to *still* be going on about it in every BW comic discussion months later.

We get it, why are you still here?

 

So everyone who doesn’t like the artwork is, what, not using their brains?

Because that’s a pretty pisspoor attitude to take towards anyone who’s critical of the art.

You act like this isn’t only the second issue. With every new issue the topic becomes relevant again.

Also, maybe they’re here because they like Beast Wars, like the story, and still want to read it, but to them the art makes that difficult and/or poorly represents that story?

 

Then why the hell did they bother giving us the full 5 page preview the day it was supposed to be shipped. What is going on at IDW?

 

So between Page 3, Panel 4 and Page 4, Panel 5, the Vok have actually frozen time, if Rattrap's dialogue is anything to go by.

 

On Comixology, it now says Transformers #28 won't be available until March 31st? I thought it was coming out on the 3rd?
And -I think- wasn't it saying it would come out some time late February before and then had switched to March 3rd? What is going on?

IDW can't get its shit together, this is known. The Back to the Future crossover came out in fucking October and we still haven't gotten to issue three yet!

 

Reign it in. There’s no need to go looking for reasons to be offended. I’m not implying that anyone who doesn’t like the art is a mentally deficient mongoloid moron. That’s an utter projection from your end.
I’m totally understanding of the dislike voiced for the visual direction but it is what is is so complaining isn’t going to change anything. It’s a purely personal comment about how I’m choosing to proceed and handle my own dissatisfaction with the stylistic choices. I’m going to look at the panels and then convert them to something more familiar in my mind. You’re welcome to try that approach or may find more satisfaction in continuing to complain about something that isn’t going to change. Do what makes you happy. Just don’t put words on my mouth.

 

Pretty cathartic seeing Biff Tannen get put in his place by the Constructicons.

I didn’t, at all, I quoted you and used your own words. You then proceeded to use even more words than I did in one hell of a passive-aggressive rant.

Im not offended at all, but it seems you might have been. I just took issue with the idea that if the art does not do it’s job it’s up to the reader to imagine better visuals. That’s like filling plot holes in a movie with your own fan explanations.

 

I, for one, am outraged that they would use cartoony drawings to represent time traveling alien robots that disguise themselves as out of scale earth animals.

Did I punctuate that right? That comma seems misplaced.

Dunno if it\'s been said already yet but that Decepticon group shot on page 4 of TF #28 features one of those girl Minicons from the old Armada Micron manga.
