I haven't had any quality issues with mine. Plastic feels good and strong. I know one person had the tips of the knee spikes snap off, so mileage may vary

I had that happen too. It’s an issue if you don’t get the Dino mode perfectly aligned.

Are all joints that are prone to loosening able to be tightened with screws?

Is there a tab in the hands to hold the staff mace?

I can only speak for my own experience with him but I was really impressed by the quality of the joints and plastic. He's very well made but like @Shmoptimus Prime said, if you don't get him perfectly aligned with his legs in his chest cavity getting back into dino-mode things can go arwy. As long as you take your time, don't push too hard, everything does click in correctly eventually (again the legs back into dino are a pain to align), everything is super solid! Tabs are all over the place (i love a good tabbing) and they're discreet in both modes (helped by the dark colour).

This is one of my favourite things in my collection for sure in summary for what it's worth.

The joints are great I think. I can't answer about the screw thing but I presume so, will have a look. Very likely. And yes there IS a tab for the hand but the mace is so heavy you have to get everything posed right first otherwise the hand just whips round with the whole stick and mace! I kind of wish there were more tabbing options with the weapon as it's so top heavy.

So far yes. I've had to tighten the screw on one of the crotch armor flaps a couple times now, but it works. And yes there's a very sturdy tab, it's the weight of the mace head that's the issue.

I concur that the tab in the hand to hold the staff is very secure. However the wrist swivel isn't strong enough to hold the heavy mace in any position other than pretty much straight up unless you brace the handle against part of the body. But you can get some decent two handed poses with no issues.

I had to glue in 6 screws, two in each shoulder and one on each calf. Haven't had any issues with them loosening since.

And yes, two-handed poses are your friend.

incredibly lame. had mine for a week and just now transforming him for the 8th? time the arm sheared off because the swivel on the shoulder was too tight. a lot of his joints are scary tight but i figured the plastic was better than that.

anyone wanna buy a broken one?

doaingz! Here I had mine and admiring him out of the box, bot only 99%...and can't play with him much until I fully deco from moving and cleaning! 2 weeks at least! I was going to compare him to WJ OS Grimlock. Still will but who knows how it will turn out now, lol. Meanwhile, as I scrutinize him, there are already a few points I don't like. Wondering how I should approach this "review".
