I was told everything on their site are ko's and generally fall apart out of the box...they had one of those 1/12 scale synth androids that are normally $64 for $20...and the reviews on it are horrid.

Ali Express works like Amazon in that it’s really just a hub for other sellers to sell their product. I’ve not had one issue with ordering through there and every figure is the genuine article. Even Show Z sells through it. Sure there ARE KO’s of varying quality but you can spot it by cost/reviews and the seller’s feedback. Like I said I’ve never had an issue and you get to have repeat business with certain sellers.

Just got this guy in from BBTS. Went to bend down one of the white things so I could articulate the leg, and this happened:

That pin hole couldn’t withstand the strain...maybe the pin was too big or the pin hole too small... Can you get a replacement?

I think they should have spare parts because this batch is part of a recent reissue.

Yeah, I figured out that that part just comes right off so that's an option. I asked for "a replacement" so hopefully that was vague enough that they give me some options. Usually BBTS customer service wants you to just send the whole figure back in my experience.

It's not a KO, but real GDW-02 Prowl. First of all, because there's no KO of this Prowl. I've already posted similar listing from Aliexpress. There's more:
    https://aliexpress.ru/item/1005001730101167.html
    https://aliexpress.ru/item/1005001645015262.html

Those are actually from trusted sellers. They always put "KO" in a description, if it's KO.

Welp, he may be broken, but he's really quite nice:

Finally got mine after missing out the first release batch. And yes, this is the reissue batch.

Ah cheers mate! Didn't know about that. Also for those who owned the figure for a while, is there anything I should be cautious about in general or during transformation?

Watch EmGo's review. I don't remember exatly, but there was a danger area while transforming legs, that he mentioned.

Just checked mine, no breaks but definitely noticed some stress marks.

Hmm. If it's a common issue, I might just keep the copy I have instead of exchanging it for another. BBTS was slow to get back to me, so they were only able to offer a refund and not a replacement figure. Not sure if I want to buy a new one off Tfsource and deal with the hassle of returning the figure.

when transforming the front fenders (black shoulder pads), be aware of where you’re holding onto while rotating all the joints into place. if you press against the front handle-looking things a little too hard, you may cause the plastic to bend/crack

Anyone with the new reissue, is his right shoulder still incredibly tight? Iirc it was a weird rivet and even shock oil didn't help.

I got him. I like him, but honestly I thought the render colors looked better than the final result (you may recall the final toy really hadn’t been seen before it shipped). Based off the renders I expected to like him better than prowl, but I think I like prowl better. But both are awesome.

I don't like the metallic AND flat red being used. I am surprised by the new parts.

Now I hope we get a "C" model for Blue streak.
