Same. Actually, make that collector toys for all the Cyberverse/Evergreen designs. There are some real winners in that aesthetic.

Hmmm, this might make some good kitbashing fodder.

This mold however is still pretty interesting, and it's interesting that the Budget-focused Shockwaves turn into some sort of spaceship akin to VG-WFC Shockwave.

It's kinda surreal that these toys have much sturdier looking plastic. And also there's the whole ball joints being dated sort of thing.

The only thing holding back Cyber Battalion Shockwave was the lack of knees. That was largely the one thing holding back the entire line, in retrospect.

I... really like the Cyberverse version of the Siege battleship mode. Not too bad for a cheap-o

Cyber Battalion Shockwave was a nicely beefy and sturdy figure that I honestly would have accepted as a mainline release if it had knees, ankles and arm swivels. While I adore the Siege one, something about the CB version's simplicity in design was enjoyable.

For the new one, while I appreciate different interpretations for Shockwave, the "scowly" eye looks awful. He's supposed to be emotionless, not grumpy.
Still, I want this pretty badly.

Good thing this could be cheap enough to be a good army-builder, if only these Authentics molds had potential redecoes like back in Cyber Battalion.

I agree, I wish they had left the scowly eye out of it. It's interesting that they put it at all, seeing as Authentics normally stays closer to the actual Evergreen designs rather than Cyberverse's interpretation of them.

Oh boy. One word to describe this Shocky is SAD... I dunno why they thought to use the Cyberverse design yet have him transform into some nondescript flying thing. I am not the greatest fan of the spidertank, but even that mode was better. And who would even need this when you have like 4 versions of Cyberverse Shockwave, plus the amazing Evergreen Voyager if you want something more G1 style?

Plus I'm sure there are a lot that like the simplified designs. They aren't for everyone, but as someone that collects every Shockwave they can (even BotShots... ick), this is definitely on the radar.

Yup. I have Seige Shockwave with my big ship bots like Tidal Wave, Seige Soundwave, Omega Supreme etc and I have my modded knees CB Shockwave with my mainline CHUG collection. CB Shockwave is nearly perfect in bot mode and pretty much what I think Shockwave should look like.

Yep. I have 97 different Shockwaves currently, excluding duplicates, MOSC and MISB, and I may have secured an AFA 85 G1, patiently waiting for confirmation. In short, I need it.

Anyone know the height in robot mode.

EXCEPT Cyber Battalion isn’t fully articulated like Authentics (no knee joints)
