I wonder when TakaraTomyMall and Kapow Toys will be getting their shipments to start the delivery to those backers in Japan and UK/Europe. Before or after Hasbro Pulse?

 

Kapow were told they'd get stock in February, but they've not updated since early in the month.

I'd assume that stock is incoming right now, and is caught up in slow port traffic etc., but who knows?

Whats that awesome thing?

 

The main villain from the old "War Planets" toyline.

It was also the subject for Mainframe's animated series War Planets: Shadow Raiders. Or just "Shadow Raiders" in Canada, under the same guidelines that had "Beast Wars" renamed to "Beasties" in that broadcasting environment.

 

ACKTYUALLY the rings are wrongly oriented because this sequence was animated very early, at a point in time in production that the rings were designed to go that way.

 

That looks both really cool and really wrong at the same time.

Like the tops just seem too "empty" I suppose. Plus, "The Entity" sounds really cool.

 

How would it eat planets with the ring in the way?

this pic reminds me of when I had to wear headgear to correct my overbite as a kid and it got in the way of me eating cereal.

 

Unicron is just an angsty teen upset that he has to wear embarrassing headgear to correct the misalignment in his planetoid teeth.

I still have that toy! It's awesome and I believe I have all of it's pieces too. It's rare for anyone other than me to even acknowledge War Planets.

Mattel has betrayed us and botched this MatLab release! The Entity’s maw is PURPLE instead of YELLOW! As someone who put about 45,000 rubles on this, I can’t even believe Mattel would let this happen! Are they even trying?!? This will be the last time I back a project, that’s for sure!
