So the hand ninja I ordered from Amazon was shipped the week of ice hell here in the south. It was scheduled to arrive last Tuesday, but didn't arrive on time. Got the message if it didn't arrive by Friday I could ask for a refund, which I did. I figured the figure would show up at some point, and he would be free. So imagine my excitement when I check tracking and see the hand ninja was out for delivery today. I get home, open the box, and, well, this is not a hand ninja. Lol. I guess I'll just return it to Walmart and get something else.
got Moira and the Sentinel lady in...moira's going to be a great background extra when you need a labcoat or random citizen in a diorama...there are plenty of extra heads to swap around and change...not that I'm expecting people to buy her in droves... saw frogman and a couple miles/peter b at target today, so the x-wave should be hitting there soon...
Welp Avengers Arcade Game, I remember Vision, Hawkeye, amd Ironman but it was a 4 player game Man that happened to me with Classifieds Storm Shadow, though I got a better wrong figure in my case

Got HoX Wolverine tonight. Glad to see that the eyes are indeed sculpted separately from the mask ears on both head sculpts. No excuse for badly painted eyes now. The claws on this are similar to the 2019 Xforce Wolverine but not as wide. The mold itself is a reuse of the 2019 Xforce Wolverine save for the following: Head sculpts Claws Belt The deco can look a little drab. The brown parts could’ve instead been molded in black but dry brushed with brown paint to not only give it more depth, but mimic the way this specific costume is inked in the comics. The brown used for the boots and gloves is actually lighter than the rest of the body but very subtle. Some subtle weathering could’ve helped for the arms and especially the teeth on the smiling head sculpt. This may be 1 of the only other times aside from on the Xforce Wolverines that the mask ears are colored the same as the dark trim color of the costume instead of just black. Neat touch but again, would’ve been better molded in black with brown drybrush to mirror the comics. If you have any Wolverine made on the 2016 bucks since, you’ll know what to expect here. The main difference in handling is that like the 2019 Xforce Wolverine, there’s no boot/shin swivels here. It could’ve definitely benefited from those as I found myself wanting to swivel the lower legs more inwards when posing(especially due to the way the ankles tilt). I wouldn’t be surprised if this figure(but with the 2019 Xforce head sculpt) is repainted as the Astonishing X-men costume at some point. Screams Walgreens exclusive but could probably be in the mainline too since Wolverine used that costume(and variants of it) for a long time during the past 5-10 years.
Exactly why I ordered two. Can't have enough civilian female bodies. Question for everyone, is there any advantage to paying for the Pulse membership now? Assuming it's worth it (I'm not 100% convinced it is), wouldn't it just be better to wait until there is something I want to order? $50 is a lot just for free shipping, but then again, if they have some kind of exclusive I really want and I miss out by not having a membership, I'll end up paying nearly that much to a scalper.
