This is my biggest issue. The chest piece should have been designed to work with the standard config.

I moved some parts and was able to attach the armor using just the upper connector.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case; BBTS had the Jetwing and Sentinel kits pushed back for MONTHS and still don't have this kit in stock.

Attaching Mixmaster via their intended method is just getting worse with time. He just plops out now. Annoying.

Could also be shipping method. I'm assuming the US places that got the kits fairly early shipped via air. If other stores choose surface (over the ocean), then yeah, that could potentially add months.

This kit really REALLY adds that finishing touch to this beast!

I didn't bother using the mixmaster connection piece (due to all the negative reviews on it) and didn't see a point to use the extra screws for the hoses (they didn't seem to really fit either lmao). With the way I configured the arms, I had to cut one of the three pegs off the shoulder pads, but affects nothing and everything looks great. The extra face piece was an absolute pain in the ass to clip onto the neck piece, also felt like I was going to shatter my devy connecting the wing pieces. No dramas with the chest piece.

Yeah, our Mixmaster connector has outright failed already (updated review post on page 9), so Mixmaster will just eject himself now when Devastator is moved around.

Applied this kit on Aoyi Mech / DD version of SS Devastator. Didn't use the neck piece as the parts on Scavenger is molded differently compared to SS

The chest piece also required some work around to tab it in. Overall the outcome is very satisfying especially the face. I didn't expect the votex grinder piece can ve moved which is a small surprise to me since it didn't get highlighted at all

Didn't bother to try with the 4 legs mode due to space constraint. I only wish that the missile ports on the shoulder piece is larger and they can add in the hooks like what MA did for their OSKO Devastator

Woah do those paint apps come on the Aoyi/D&D molds or did you custom paint them?

The paint is default factory paint. I only apply some water decals to enhance the details for the individual Bot / alt mode

BBTS still hasn't gotten these in yet, but a question... the wing pieces that attach to Scavenger, are those meant to stay there permanently after being plugged in? Looks like it would be very difficult to remove without breaking.

I sanded the hooks on mine so they'll be easier to detach in the future.

They stay on semi-permanently. They're not meant to come off repeatedly. The instructions tell you how to fold and arrange the panels for each of his modes.

Yeah I ordered mine from BBTS as well, at this rate I feel like its the only place that hasnt gotten them in stock, I wonder whats keeping them at this point considering the kits have been out for awhile everywhere else.

BBTS is known for being last on the list to receive stock. On the one hand I really want this yesterday, but on the other I'm ok with my paypal not being charged $50 until a bit later. It's just plastic. It's just plastic. It's just plastic.
