Not only did they replicate the kibble and the visible wheels, but also the 5mm ports. On the toy.

I get it when they make outstanding figures that average toys can’t hold a candle to... but...

I’d rather much get an OSKO and pay someone to custom paint it. It’ll end up looking exactly like ThreeZero except that it’s transformable.

Can def get him into poses the Siege version can\'t do.
Once you get the right pose, he becomes a great looking statue that does\'nt cost $2,000.
In my more mature years as a fan, I dig this stuff.

Makes good eye candy since I dont play with them as much anymore.

And it's the same thing on the show.
They slavishly adhered to the toy models and didn't take the liberties they should have taken, like removing the 5mm ports.

I just don't understand it in either case.
Although, now that I think on it, I guess the figure is going for show accuracy.
Nah. I still don't get it.

I actually really like this design at its core. It's G1 Prime with a slightly cybertronian flare and has better general proportions than the Earthrise Prime. That being said, I'm not a fan of the show, so I'm content with the $30 transforming version. ThreeZero, your DLX line is great though and I hope you keep it up while keeping the price at around or below $200... unfortunately besides this figure I am already seeing the price creep.

I wonder how it compares in height to this (bearing in mind the other figures in the picture are also OSKO)?

I bet he is about the same size as Aoyi Mech version. I have that OS KO and was planning on custom painting him until 3Z announced this figure. Customizing this figure to look like anything close to what 3Z has done would take quite a bit of work and decent paint isn't cheap. Then forget about transforming him with a fully custom paint job. Better off just getting the 3Z version with die-cast, better articulation and LED lights IMO.

I'm not so sure about that. There are plenty of well painted, fully transformable TFs out there (many posted at this site), and I think, even without the paint, that the OSKO version is good enough for a "great, poseable, oversized Seige Optimus Prime", without the need to spend 200+ dollars on.

Coupled with the improved kibble (which is now on the back, and folded away) and that it transforms, the Aoyi Mech version is by far the superior version, from a price and playability POV, IMO.

Optimus released in HK (I think). Photos by Toyswalker.

Great articulation as usual by Threezero's DLX line. That ab crunch looks great.

Hasbro doesn't allow licensed TF toys to transform, this has to be mentioned in like every licensed TF action figure thread

I mean, I don't typically expect super detailed statue figures to Transform anyway for the robot accuracy factor over sporting a vehicle mode. But since this figure is based off of the Siege show that directly copied off toy models 1:1 you'd believe it would Transform.

that's what i do but i do it with the bb movie stuff, i think that aesthetic lends itself better to hyper articulation than just a blown up version of a smaller, transforming toy as far as details go

Hmm.. I could've sworn I heard some others had a hand in designing them though. I could be wrong
