I just got him in and... I'm disappointed to say that this is the one of the few figures I've handle that I outfight despise messing with (Siege Springer being the only other one).

The wings are way too floppy and fall off no matter which position I attach them on, the transformation, especially in the legs, just isn't fun, the knees are way too tight and the calves are all panels making me outright not want to move them, almost nothing in the torso area actually tabs in.

That being said, like Springer he has a presence on the shelf that I can't deny is impressive, and he fills a hole in the collection (granted he only fills that hole by proxy of being a collaborative figure that I didn't yet own).

Honestly though me not liking this figure only makes me less worried about leaving the soft plastic weapons attached, previous to this I was concerned they would melt the hard plastic but now I don't care.

You have a nice display going on there! What is that grey (botbot?) fellow with a TF face inside?

It's a little robot that comes with the Action Toys DX Bike Robo (GoBot's Cy-Kill) on the left, that you can use to hold one of the four magnetic face plates. :)

Has this been sighted at Target or is it just being shipped by Target so far?

Considering that we are apparently getting TMNT/Power Rangers crossover figures, I could see the Party Wagon happening eventually since there is already 1 collab deal in place

Let’s see how successful these TMNT & Power Rangers action figures sell, and its potential success should increase the chances of an Autobot Party Wagon happening.

Earthrise Ironhide could be an option to be retooled into the Mystery Machine.

When did this come about? I knew about the comic series, but not toys.

I was kind of shocked when my tracking app dinged that he was outside my door, delivered at 8pm on a Sunday. As others have said, he's pretty fiddly like we've all gotten used to from many bayverse studio series figures over the years. He is hefty and looks great in both modes. Even knowing he was based on and as large as SS Jetfire, I still wasn't prepared for how large he really is. So onto some pictures.

In Package, the art really pops.

    The very cool tray art.

With MP-10 for scale. Looks ready to work with the Autobots.

And the crossover gang. If these guys were a squad, I imagine he'd be in charge. IMG_1457.JPG

I got mine in the mail yesterday. Does anyone else have a problem with his waist being loose. It is the area above the belt. It is super loose. Makes me think of a bobble head.

Ya, the waist wobbles left/right around the pin joint that holds it together. I don't see any way of securing it.

Looking at pics, I'm guessing the upper corner dent is common? I got one from the AZ warehouse and one from AL. Both same dents but different degrees.

Also, (not my pic) anyone know what the name of the below X-men mini figs are from? They don't look like the Jada Toys ones. I'd like to add more.

I've never seen those before but some googling came up with 1994 ToyBiz Marvel Pocket Comic sets.

Ugh. I feel exactly like you do. He has a cool presence (if you're fine with a loud 90's aesthetic, I am) but overall, the build quality feels like a step down from anything current. It's fussy and you're actually worried you'll break it. The little wings on the sides have already started to sag on mine. The last time I was even mildly disappointed with a TF was Takara Legends Jetfire (during Combiner Wars era). It was a brittle-esque figure.

At this point, I would only recommend this to hardcore fans or folks who can tolerate a fussy build quality. :(

I had the same reaction transforming and handling him right out of box, but for me, after a few transformations and getting a swing of things, it's alright. Stuff loosened up where it needed to on the legs.

When bending the ratchets on the leg, just be sure to hold your fingers as close to the bend when bending. Ratchets are scary tight as hell.

I don't like the wobbly waist, but I think it's like that so you have more tolerance when getting him into jet mode? I guess it doesn't really bother me unless I pick him up, lol.

For fun, I just say they had to make it a bobble head because of a licencing issue like how Funko can only make Marvel Funko Pops so long as it's a bobble head and/or it's a homage to that fact. :p
