    I dunno. He was boring in the first place, and it doesn’t look like he’s any less boring now? As MPs go, he’s just sort of meh. Unless there is some magic going on that isn’t obvious, it doesn’t look very original or complex in terms of engineering.

    looks nice, but i never liked the character, passing

    plus im still sour on my hound breaking on me and the fact that these MPs just get more and more tedious to transform. dont get me wrong, some are ingenious and creative, but my god the number of panels and transformation sequences feels like it has increased 1000 fold

    Ok, I just saw a few going nuts for it in another thread. It's better than I could do for that price point, that's for sure, just didn't understand the fanfare.

    He had plenty of character in the comics, including a focus issue. Not everything is about Sunbow.

    It is in for Takara who didn't bring over the comics and made their own manga instead.

    The Charlene US issue and some stories after that. Tons of time travel and alternate dimension shenanigans in the UK comic. Some apperances in Regeneration One. And he had a huge role for years in More Than Meets the Eye. I'd say that's plenty. Not everything is indeed about a cartoon that ran for four years out of the 37 this franchise has existed.

    Skids looks more like the Datsuns in design, like he was a shelved idea that they decided to go ahead and release. Which doesn’t bother me at all. Loved the Datsuns. Nice, simple, yet masterful. Would be a nice step back.

    I'm sure it could have been removed, but the g1 toy, the toon and the 3P version all have it. Might have actually been kind of weird if he didn't.

    Masterpiece Skids!
    Wow, that seems like such an obscure choice, but lots of you guys have been talking about how popular that car is in Japan.
    And I love cars and I love carbots, so this is an instant buy for me.
    I have no connection to the character at all, but I like cars, and this looks cool. No toy head, no scooter, which is typical TT bullcrap, we'll get those in the repaints, but I still want this guy.
