kronos is a lot better than Armageddon but metallic Bruticon is better than Kronos if that helps. Strictly on the quality of build.

 

How do you have your Menasor taller than Bruticus? In the pics I've seen, that Menasor is shorter. Is he on something that makes him taller?

 

Maybe he is standing on his toes?

 

V1 Kronos = Bruticon. Armageddon is a massive step down in stability. Build quality is the same though in terms of plastics used. I sold Armageddon, straight after I got Bruticon. I think Ben, or some other YouTube reviewer, did a comparison

 

I finally got them combined. Only one tab broke . If I ever needed to see the trailer again I will spend the money to buy a new one. I can't put myself through the agony again.

Can't recall but did anyone have to shave the round peg in the waist that seperates Deadend in two? I couldn't seperate the halves and had to unscrew the hips to break it in half. I figured the round peg was too thick?

To put it into perspective, the peg on overheat seems slightly smaller

I shaved the peg down a bit, but I still loosen the screw a bit to separate his halves.

I pre-ordered the trailer from an independent toy store which still hasn't gotten their stock yet. While this isn't directly XTB's fault, when put on top of every other issue I have with their Menasor, I'm just leaving these guys in robot mode and walking away from this project. I've already got a copy of Capone's reissue pre-ordered and I think it's more in line with what I want to just start on a second set rather than going through the hassle.

If it does show up, maybe I'll take a bunch of photos of the five of them hanging out in the base mode and pretend that it was my original intent for these pieces all along.

 

So you’re willing to pay $500 just to not have to transform a trailer you paid $230 for? Dude I’d say deal with the horrible transformation and save your money. There’s a lot of better stuff you could buy with that.

 

It wasn’t an upfront payment, my man. So, I only bought what I have in my possession.

That said, I did try to pay the seller before the shipment arrived, but he insisted I wait until he had it in his hands. I think he’s probably a solid guy, he just got caught in a bad time to be shipping large orders.

 

God... He does look good up there. he is real badass!
and i love my XTB set, the only thing i don't like is trailer transformation too difficult.

 

Geez, It's been 2 months and BBTS still hasn't gotten their shipment despite other retailers having it in stock.
