Well we still don’t have autobot targetmasters, needlenose, star saber, raiden. It’s probably a not yet than a not ever...but don’t hold your breath...

I get where you're coming from, but G1 has over 100 of characters in it's roster already, even if you're not including the Japanese shows. Whereas beast wars had around 20 characters total. I get being annoyed that It's taking forever for G1 to be completed, but we just want the 14 characters that appeared in season 1. Not meaning to disagree with you, it just seems more annoying since Beast Wars had such a small roster compared to G1.

Correct, Hasbro keeps everything they plan for the future a surprise.

BW had tons of characters that weren’t in the cartoon, much like G1.

I know, and I wasn't necessarily push that to the side. What I had been saying is that it would be much more frustrating for the 14 characters from season 1 of Beast Wars to not be completed, as compared to not getting remakes of every single character from G1. Cause G1 had hundreds. Whereas beast wars, even including toy only characters, had just over 60. Granted, I'm not taking into account characters getting new bodies, but still. I feel like my point stands.

We’ll probably get something in March or April. This is around the time that Toy Fair would have been, so I’d expect reveals around then because preorders for upcoming Kingdom and Studio Series toys have to go up at some point.

I honestly don't think I've ever seen a point where everything revealed is out at retail with no announcement for later waves of anything.

Yeah, but I don't know about everyone here, but whenever they DO eventually reveal them, I'm still surprised haha

Like, when we knew about Dinobot was different from when we finally SAW it.

I don't mind knowing what's coming ahead of time, I just don't usually like seeing pictures of them get leaked. We knew we were getting BW Megatron but when Hasbro actually released the pictures of him it as incredible.

Honestly I feel like it makes it a bit more exciting when we know what's coming, but don't know what it looks like until Hasbro finally reveals it.

This has been a sore spot for me for awhile. First we only got BA, Megs, and. Reskin of Cheetor for Predacons, but that was okay because we had a big anniversary coming up and surely we'd get some more BW MPs. Now we're almost done with February, and we've get a skids announced to help pump a vehicle anniversary for Honda, and nada for BW. I even like skids, but I really thought they were gonna come out swinging with some BW love this year. It's been majorly disappointing to have been wrong about that.

I dont know how old you are but being an older millennial TF fan is rough. I was too young when I saw TFTM to know Hot Rod "ruined" anything, and thought all the G2 stuff was rad. Then when I got a brand new series it was all Truck>Monkey. I feel like BW fans don't ask for much. I don't need anything from Transmetals or (shudder) Beast Machines. Just the S1 cast and I'd shut up about MPs forever, and happily buy any G1 D-listers or the next half a G version of Prime that they throw at me.

I knew about Kingdom and SS86 in May of 2020 (and saw images of waves 1 and 2) so I guess I didn't even think of that.

We all have to be patient. We don’t know what plans were changed and/or delayed by the pandemic, and things like toy design and production span multiple countries. A lot of focus is likely on the mainline, as it needs to retain some measure of consistency and relevance. MPs and other more niche avenues are likely taking a backseat while everything stays limited. Skids being a seemingly old design taken of the back burner is likely the only reason he’s happening.

We just have to sit tight.

While this is fair enough I amused by the implication of "I miss when they advertised to me more"

Imagine the rants if the checklist reflected the last couple years of releases
    [ ] - Available everywhere!
[ ] - Available "everywhere", but you'll never actually see one in a store
[ ] - Available only in Wal Mart
    [ ] - Available only at Target
    [ ] - Available only on Amazon
[ ] - Available on Hasbro Pulse, if you're on the site during that 40 minute window to pre-order before it sells out seven months before it actually releases.

    :)

Three things that I don't know if they've been asked:

One, are the Retro Headmasters over after Wave 2?
Two, any info on whatever Vintage BW is?
And three, any info on Masterpieces? Not talking about MPMs, moreso talking about the regular ones. Got interested after one of the posts earlier. We know Skids and Skywarp are coming, but are there any other interesting figures? Like another Beast Wars character or a 1984 character who hasn't gotten an official MP treatment?
