Thank you both so much! I’m so dumb, I really thought I warped the joint or something during transformation lol, this takes a huge weight off my shoulders. Again, thank you!!

Well if you're dumb, then so am I lol. I was freaking out when I spotted that on my La Hire. It took like 10 mins of staring at it to figure out lol.

At least you have hobby shops, all the ones near me have shuttered permanently due to covid stuff. I have to order from places I’ve never heard of sight unseen and wait for weeks. Makes it hard to get the right colors and materials.

OK first transformation COMPLETE! That was tough! But only because I went without instructions. About halfway through I used a youtube video but the video was going from car to robot so it wasn't as helpful as I'd hoped. There are some really interesting things going on here and I anticipate the next time won't take me nearly as long. However, I feel like I'm doing something wrong in the back since the back fenders are a bit high up? It rolls just fine and feels solid but I still think I've done something wrong. Anyone have any suggestions (please check out the last two pics)?

All I can say is I'm very happy with my purchase. Could have been a bit cheaper, but the engineering is so impressive and stuff like the weathering and the car mode hinges are much less offensive in person than in pics.

So far the only major problems I’ve had are the tolerances for some edges in the ankle in robot mode, and some of the edges of the thigh detail molding and the shoulder detail being warped in vehicle mode. I had some paint chipping from the vehicle mode “dirt” but as you can see from my posts above I took care of that, hehe.
Other than that others have reported some problems with ankle rotation, hip joint stress marks, and the foot getting stuck during transformation. Nothing major or widespread as far as I can tell.
He’s a really fun figure and absolutely blows MPM-07 out of the water.

Dang, they are high...did you peg the pecs in? That's one place I don't think I covered in my video, there are slots in the back of the "pecs" that have corresponding pegs to fit.

I think so. They peg into the wheels, right? The faux chest parts?

@Shmoptimus Prime not the wheels, but the "collar bone"?
    upload_2021-2-27_10-50-7.png
@DaveTheCave I think it might be the hands, I went back and searched this thread for "Unique Toys" and even the thought was 2 years back. It could be more or less wishful thinking (due to positive track records), but...
    upload_2021-2-27_10-54-24.png
ALSO, if anybody did the alcohol treatment, I revisited the figure's finish. You really DON'T end up with a "stripped" top coat. What it is...is as the iso alc breaks down the top weathering layer, it has a chance to create an uneven finish lending to the impression that it becomes matte, but isn't...SO, what you should do is try and buff out with the rag as regularly as you can so that the finish is smoother and more even. If you have a disposable micro fiber cloth, even better.

I ordered this on a whim recently and it arrived today.
It’s one of the most impressive impulse purchases I’ve made in a long time.
Paint is amazing, it feels good and honestly, if I didn’t know it’s a Transformer, I’d assume it was an action figure.
Transcraft have made a fan out of me today.
