My ebgames preorder (Canada) for Bebop and rocksteady finally came in. I preordered them in the summer of 2019. They were supposed to be released originally November 2019. That was a long wait.
I may need to hope EB gets most of these, because I want to round out my movie collection, but am not really thrilled with going through Necastore again. Especially if I have to wait 6 weeks just to get one Ultimate MetalHead. We'll probably get Surf Ninjas Keno before actual Keno. I'm honestly going to guess the last four will be Secret of the Ooze Turtle Variants with updated suits to include the more prominent spotting effect they had. I mean seriously, it's a no brainer, and we need us some COMBAT COLD CUTS!
Score! I’m glad they are easier to find in some places...it’s a nightmare up here... That guy is, IMO, about the most interesting figure in the history of TMNT figures. There’s a lot going on...plus the whole concept is kind of disgusting...haha. Mine is out for delivery as I type.
With the Thundertank coming out next year has there been any rumblings about a Turtle van on the horizon?
1 at a time. First they test the waters with something everybody wants, then they start staggering releases for each series. Thundercats got there first, we'll probably see a Party Wagon Playmates style for Ultimates from S7 in 2023.
I don't believe so, I think the NECA turtles are slightly taller, but I only have the movie versions to compare.
No s7 Turtles are like 6.5-7", SH closer to Neca Toon so there Turtlevan will be a better fit than s7 ver.
Yeah it sucks for timing. Flynn said that they'll wait until the Thundertank ships before putting the next item up for order. So if the Turtle Van goes next, it wouldn't be released hypothetically until 2023. Two year cycle for the big stuff.
I remember when the reissued the original party wagon, same box art and everything. I remember it like it was yesterday, standing in the aisle of TRU, seeing 5 of them on the shelf, and passing on them because I wasn't so into turtles back then. Regrets.
