Eh, at this point I don't think we need anymore nu-G1 shows for a while. We've had three in the past few years...two of which have been adult oriented (WFC and Prime Wars). I mean, I'd enjoy a really good adult-oriented show with a better voice cast, but it seems pretty apparent that it's just not going to happen.

I don't see anything out-of-touch about doing a Bot-Bots show. This brand isn't about appealing to adult fans, it's about children's' entertainment. We've seen enough of the same ground retreaded over the past few years, let's see something innovative and new.

eOne is the media studio that Hasbro owns. Movies. TV. Music.

There's enough nostalgia shit out there in what passes for the toy aisles in 2021 for senior citizens like us. Let the kids have something of their own, fer Primus' sake.

So BotBots get the action show and Nick gets the comedy show.

Nice to see the Stretch Armstrong guys still working with Hasbro and Netflix, at least.

Other way around. The Nick show is action/comedy, while Netflix's BotBots seems more like a full-blown comedy.

They didn't say anything about BotBots being a comedy at all so IDK where your getting that from.

??? Botbots is an inherently comedic concept. Why would you think it would be a straight action show.

What are you doing Takara?  You need to make a seires thats mind blowing.  We fans have been waiting for 16 years.  I feel Transformers lost its edge after Galaxy Force.  I\'m thankful for the presence of the current trilogy although I\'m currently in dissapontment for the current series.  I was looking forward to Earthrise only to end up down.

I never liked Bot-Bots, it confuses me how a pizza slice could transform into a robot. The only way that would ever work is if it was a metal slice of pizza, which ruins the idea of disguise.

We've had the "innovative and new" for the last 20 years. Let's not kid ourselves, Machinima's Prime Wars and the WFC Trilogy (so far) were beautifully animated but poorly written garbage.

We haven't had any shows of real quality writing since Beast Wars/Beast Machines, IMHO. BW/BM was the perfect blend of innovation, strong writing, and outstanding voice cast while brilliantly building on established lore.

Beast Machines was a mess, what are you talking about? Like I'm a BW fan but even then I can acknowledge that second season was rough.

It doesn't. All Takara is doing is just going along with what America does. Takara used to do things first. Ex: Car Robots, Victory, Zone, etc.
