Thanks for separating the topics on the 2 new toons!
I am all for this. The creators worked on Spiderman (not sure which one though), Flex Fighters and Rescue Bots... better credentials than the Nicktoons show for sure, to me.
Lost Bots being the troublemakers is a good idea. Maybe the plot will be each of the ones missing from a certain team trying to go back and rejoin them, but make a mess? And them staying hidden from the security guard is rather Toy Story like, will lead to a lot of funny scenarios for sure.

    Okay looked into Chris Wyatt...
    Chris Wyatt (producer) - Wikipedia
He worked on as screenwriter and producer on among others, TMNT (2012), MLP FiM, Avengers EMH and Assemble, Ninjago, Super Dinosaur, TF Cyberverse, Sonic Boom, Ultimate Spiderman, Gormiti... lots of credits.

One confusing thing, both this Hasbro article and the Nicktoons show article mentions eOne... what is that, the studio?

    Hasbro 2020 meeting...

Chairman: What Tf shows shall we do next year?

Board member: How about an adult-oriented show set in the G1 universe with more episodes and better writers than WFC, and maybe some G1 voice actors?

Chairman: (laughter), no one wants that. Anyone else?

    Out-of-Touch Board Member: uh... Bot-Bots?

Chairman: Outstanding! Now that's how you make money!

Maybe, maybe not. Nickelodeon does have a partnership with Netflix currently, so it could be a joint venture

I\'m really looking foward to this! I like how that we now have a Serious and fan-focused TF show (WFC) , A more kid oriented but still plot focused TF show (Cyberverse) And now this more experimental show

They’re definitely two different shows. The Nick show is CGI, full length eps, coming 2023. The Botbots show is 2D animated, unconfirmed ep length, coming in 2021.

Sounds like a interesting premise. I'm looking forward to watch it on Netflix!

I could see this being a lot of fun, Bot Bots lends itself to silliness and wackiness in every way it expresses itself. At the same time, they really need to keep from making it the same boring cheap kiddie writing so many shows have today. It doesn't need to be a bunch of gross-out humor and tepid jokes to stay safe, it needs to have its own voice. I don't expect this will be a home run, but I'm hopeful it'll have something enjoyable about it.

You've got the roles reversed there, buddy.

It's why I'm laughing at the rending of garments. BW, Bay, Animated, Cyberverse.... it's the same chicken littles every time.

I mean, eventually they'll be "right"...but only because a franchise dies at some point.

I'm down for something different and fun. I'll take something like this over yet another G1 rehash.
