If this was the only option we'd gotten up to this point, I'd be pretty happy with it. But that isn't the case.

I just hope this doesn't force TransCraft to scrap theirs.

Yes but like, one is a “transformer” and the other is a non transformable optimus action figure, which is great none the less but your point feels a bit forced

Looking at them, aside from the forearms being better on the Toyworld version, I think the HasTak one more accurately represents the on screen model.

This is literally the only optimus that truly nails the silohuette, even Toyworld has a boxy proportions-

 

Yeah from this I think my problem with the head is that it's too skinny.

 

The forearms, head, and alt-mode seem to be the biggest grips right now.

 

They are both "Transformers" one can transform and one can't, but that doesn't matter in which looks better to me. The other 3P one looks on the same level build-wise (obviously not paint) so why can't the official?

I feel like it’s been a while since many of us have actually seen the CG model. I’ve seen more 3P offerings over the past few months than I have this actual model. Think it has this effect of people developing their idealized version of what this design should be, since the 3P offering all vary from one to the other.

 

I can see the other 3Ps but this MPM definitely beats Fire Scorpion, especially with that massive chest day routine it did.

A lot of these 3P figures being posted seem to be based on the SS figure, which doesn't look as good as this one. I'll concede the really expensive one that doesn't transform though, and maybe even the one that's a third of the size but the same price, other than that though...

 

Toyworld, Toy Lab, and Transcraft (the only one that will be at MPM scale) all look better that aren't KO's of the SS figure imo (even tho we've seen nothing from TC, basing it on their Bumblebee).

But this guy will probably be cheaper and less complex to transform, so he has that going for him.

Now I'm just tempted to see what the KO's of this guy will look like.
