I think the truck suffered because they were trying to make it an enjoyable transformation. That's fine with me. The focus should be the bot mode on this one. Plus he has the Matrix. I want this one.

My only issue is the window shades.

 

I'm pretty forgiving with these things too, so I'm surprised how conflicted I am. The shins in truck mode wouldn't bother me in isolation, but the other problems are just too much. Like I was fine with MPM Starscream's alt mode when a lot of people weren't, but sometimes they just go too far. Like Ratchet's head being totally visible under his truck front. What the hell was that? The cat ears and awkward sides feel like too much of that level of issue to me. Really hoping if they do a Blitzwing it's altmode is better than this.

Well, I was kind of hoping for a more accurate truck mode, but there’s probably a license issue, so I’m pretty pleased with the way they did this. I think it looks better than the Studio Series tbh. I especially like the rounded covers over the windshield.

 

I think he looks great, very good robot mode. Truck is weird in the back, but not terrible. Of course this thread is mostly negative but that's to be expected from this place  

 

I understand Toy World, but the other ones are a bit of a stretch don’t you think? Also it’s kinda dumb to compare it to 3Zero lol

 

the arms aren't too long as in the ending of bumblebee, it shows primes hands being near the lower leg area

 

i feel mixed, i like the robot mode but the vehicle leave's a lot to be desired

 

The only reason I think Lemon Tree is good is because it’s small. I don’t think it’ll look as good when MPM scale because he’s bit blocky and less bulky than the movie. I still think this MPM12 looks really good.

Damn, I guess I'll have to hold out for Transcraft's version.

Some goods things about it are the head, the abdomen sides, and the majority of the legs, which is why from afar it looks amazing.

Some of the bad things are the arms and the truck - did I mention the truck? Good god, I thought the whole point of "robots in disguise" was to be in disguise...

I guess I shouldn't have had such high expectations from the MPM. After all, it is a joint collaboration between Hasbro and Takara with a fairly limited budget.

 

Me thinks them 3rd parties did better. (embiggen OP1 — Postimages)

 

Some of the 3rd party options will probably be better than this guy, but I still rather like how this one looks. The proper Matrix is a welcome addition as well, and I kinda like how his ion rifle folds up onto his truck bed.
