Grinder, Hoodlum, Acousticwave beg to differ.

Hoodlum's release was pushed back from 2016 to 2019 because MP-28 was released.

Grinder came out in 2017; eight years after MP-08.

When exactly did Acoustic Wave get released? I don't believe that it was it was anywhere near the 2013 original release date. Oh yeah, they pushed it back over half a decade to not go head to head with MP13.

    oh no.. That hurts..

If you want a way to fix that is not destructive, I recommend getting some Tamiya thin cement. It's not actually glue or cement. What you do is position the peg back on and then use the applicator to let the liquid seep in the crack. It will "weld" plastic back together by slightly melting both ends. The joint will still be fragile but much stronger than if you were to use actual glue.

Yeah. In retrospect, I probably should have. Though, I really didn't expect that this would end up happening considering how easily the head that was on there came off.

I thought about doing something similar. As another user posted below, Tamiya cement might work. Which do you think would be the better option?

Do you think that thed the 'weld' would be strong enough handle the pressure of then reattaching the head to the peg after the cement had set or would it just snap again?

My analysis of Takara vs FT is that the FT looks like an older figure (because it is), and Takara's looks like a modern MP figure. That says nothing bad or good about either, simply that they look like the time they were made for.

As the meme goes, why not both?

Drill and pin and use Tamiya cement. The pin will give a lot more surface area for the cement, strengthening the bond. You may even get your neck swivel back, but dont get your hopes up too much.

I bought Willis off one of the FB groups I'm in for a really good price. Delivered today and loving him. Transformation isnt as bad as people made it out to be.

Need to take a new pic of him. I replaced the faction decal with a better one while I was messing around with him earlier.

Yeah, his transformation isn't that bad. I like him a lot. He doesn't quite fit in with the toon accurate MPs. But I am not a toon lover.

I'm the same. My collection is already a mixed bag of different companies. I don't need the full toon look. It really depends on the character with me.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see either a reissue or a 2.0 of Willis. It is already happening with Tesla 2.0.

I just hope both toy and toon colors will be options.

I know this is a long shot, but did anyone get a Willis with 2 left knees? I have one with two right knees. 20210117_221917.jpg

The little trailer hitch, is everybodies' floppy? I rotate it out, then press the rear end together. It just dangles, limply.

I already have Willis but I might have to pick up that KO, I honestly think it looks great (aside from the shoulder gun armature, but I appreciate that it's integrated into the transformation). The KO seems to be built out of superior plastic than the official MP.

FT really nailed a lot of the elements of that toon design, didn't they? This is an OLD figure and although it doesn't have up-to-date levels of articulation it certainly holds up, looks-wise!

I so want TT to reissue MP-47 with better materials. I'll be first in line to get it.
