I had one two years ago? I remember really liking Hotspot. The rest were OK. If only they were more fun to transform, I would probably keep them, but yeah in the end I sold them off.

Only other thing I can remember is Katana/Blades's helicopter blades/sword replacement that came with Hot Spot...

Oof... if there's confirmation that Axel is fixed and no longer prone to pulling a "Bayverse Jazz" & breaking, they will go QUICKLY.
My Axel, last I had them out, was fine, but I'd grab another just in case it does succumb to the issue one day.

Axel was the only one I heard had defects...Handlebars same as the thrilling 30s bikes...snap off...but did hear they replaced them with metal ones in another figure. I thought the set looked great for a CHUG scale in the older classics...and would have went great with the MT Computron, Fansproject Monstructor/Dino King, and Menasaur....but would have felt small next to tfc King Poseidon and Abominus...so I went with TFC's Defensor...plus the bigger version makes him scale with my MMC figures a little better to use as the Lost Light versions...although no Rook combiner.

I gotten maketoys yellow giant set recently and I'm impressed. I'm keeping my eye on this, because this will be my go to defensor. Now I need a superion, bruticus, and a measaur. Also going to have to track down MT's computron.

If TFSource still has one in stock, I’m pretty sure they’ll pay you to take it off their hands.

Maketoys combiners always had a certain charm to them, their stylised takes were always refreshing. I had the OS KO of this guy which I think suffered from the up scaling with certain joint issues, I'd grab the original at a reasonable price in a heart beat.

Man, I'd love to see their take on more decepticon combiners, this guy and computron were actually interesting enough that'd I'd probably get on board with it over the slavish g1 stuff we get now.

Earlier today, I decided to play around with the individual components of Guardia, as I made my way to Groove, he literally fell apart, not like I was surprised, I figured he was already broken before even touching him. I was kinda bummed out, but messing with Hot Spot cheered me up.

Well I think to be fair, the QC was not great on one specific member, Axel. The rest were fine ....

My Axle snapped in half a while back. After waiting (what I think is) years for a reissue, I've just about given up :(

I actually got the replacement part to fix my Axle but I don't even know how to repair it. I want to buy another one just to avoid it.

Got tired of waiting on the re-release and tried to fix my Axle with the replacement part. First screw came out easy. The second one I striped and now I'm stuck...any suggestions to how I can get this screw out?
