Just got mine today; one of the guns broke immediately when I tried to unfold it; will have to contact TCP for a replacement part. I'm seeing what looks like some stress marks on the other one too, though it folds/unfolds smoothly so I don't think there'll be an issue with it.

Otherwise she's pretty nice.

And a further update; I'd ordered a couple of Wheelblades, and inspecting the second one both the guns are already broken before I've even unfolded them. Messaged TCP; hopefully this is easily resolved.

 

Received this today. Looks good in both modes. However the plastic feels cheap. Really cheap. Its disappointing as other Fans Hobby figures use brilliant plastic. The sword is really good. Probably needs a little polish to strengthen the arms.

She arrived today.

Will agree the plastic, especially for the front of the car/lower legs does feel lower grade than even Athena, it doesn't necessarily feel fragile to that I'm scared of it breaking.


Some things, like the car doors feel like they've improved. Others like her wrists and knees seem a bit loser, but nothing terrible.

Face sculpt is quite good, maybe an alternate smiling face would've been nice too

Her rear windows pop out. Found them and popped them back. Just something to watch out for, I guess. Never happened to my Athena.


Gah! My poor Wheel Blade.

The top of the peg for her thumb broke off. It holds still but floppily.

And just now the little peg to hold the scabbard to her thigh snapped

 

Man, Fans Hobby has really been cheaping out on their materials lately. What the hell happened to them? Archenemy is rock solid.

 

Think they'll send me replacements with her being a con exclusive?

 

He's also twice her size. Not sure if it's cheapening or just working with thinner designs. Still a weakness on their part, but a different issue.

 

I was also referring to the recent QC nightmare with their Armada Prime.

 

Fans Hobby should follow suit with Nite Walker and make her a kimono and Minerva a doctor coat

 

my god this thing is ass. i got mine for $20 from a board member a month ago and after leaving it on a shelf untouched for a couple weeks the thumb and some random black piece of plastic fell off when i picked it up. what is this swiss cheese plastic nonsense lol

 

Guess that is why you got it so incredibly cheap…

 

Not to mention that the plastic quality is not so good either. Bought mine from an ebay seller, who had never touched the figure. I took it out and transformed the upper body, which resulted in a small piece of black plastic chipping off the left part of the upper body where the pin is which connects to the arm. Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice take on the Windblade character in vehicle form...and the Porsche form looks awesome! But, at this point I am concerned that if I attempt to transform her a few more times, who knows what other parts will break?

I don't want a Shelfwarmer, I want a Transformer!

 

following up on aforementioned cheap windblade, after not touching it for a week i picked up the headmaster and one of the "mutton chops" on the helmet fell off. no stress marks or noises, it just... came apart. like gps.

 

Look like this is the exclusive that nobody loves. I know it can be brought from TCP but if anyone is willing to let her go cheaper, please message me.

 

Got her delivered today, figured with the BF sale I was gonna either get her or Nite Walker, and the "TFCon Exclusive" won me over, since I have most of the other ones from FH.

Left shoulder joint fell apart right when I was finishing the transformation, which I knew was a possibility from this thread but I took a chance.

Oh well, email sent to TCP.
