That’s exactly what I did on the cracking areas I could find and so far it’s holding up. And you’re totally right, it feels like a great solid figure which makes the cracking and breaking issues so much more out of nowhere.

Ah OK, not sure on the time for that then. Do you have someone you can ask to message them for you?

Forgot to say make sure it’s pressed down against the plate and not extended for the extra movement. @perfectdrago

I'm echoing the statement of them rushing it out for Chinese New Year honestly. It's just even weirder that it's only the core robot having most of the issues. So far Sparkplug and the trailer have been completely perfect. Even the back skirts of the trailer have given me zero issues (the ratchet mechanism is just right, not too loose or tight).

Fanshobby did get back to me and said they'd let me know of replacement schedules. And so far the super glue seems to be holding for me too.

If anything the whole super mode chest assembly feels slightly too thin/flimsy for what it's expected to do

Unfortunately not, no. Hopefully they get back to me soon or there’s some more official channel to getting in line for a replacement.

Ok so mine is about to be delivered in the next day or two and I’m just ~preparing for the worst~ but could you walk me through putting super glue on it and ensuring that it won’t glue to the bar inside?

Okay so basically you want to use the end of a toothpick. Dab it into the glue then sort of run it along any cracks you come across.
If you get a crack on the hinge for the super mode chest, you just wanna dab a small amount into it and let it sit. It holds together really well and didn't make it stick on the bar for mine

How in the hell do you get his back skirt to split and rotate out? I'm clearly missing something.

Cancelled my pre order and maybe now I'll just buy someone's first run if the price is right or wait on the second run. Rooting for Fans Hobby to make it out of this QC nightmare.

Feel confident enough that the repairs I did to this guy on the cracks will hold for the foreseeable future, and I had some free time so came up with a fan mode for the core robot to give Sparkplug more to do.

Pretty happy with how this turned out, he’s quite secure if you position the feet just right. I’m hoping Fanshobby do something like this with Overload except it goes on top of the container where the Mini-Con ports are.

Has anyone else noticed that Mini-Con connection hard points are really loose? Takes little to no effort knock off Sparkplug and it’s annoying. The old Armada Mini-Cons and WFC Micromasters fit perfectly however.

I really hope so, it would make him shine. Especially if it adds some details to the base mode like screen stickers. That garage bay that Prime stands in looks pretty dull.

It looks like the old Armada adverts in the toy magazines from back in the day for me. I did get a flyer with my Korean Optimus I bought on eBay two years ago. If I find it I’ll attach an image here to compare.
