Neat! I ended up really liking the show, especially towards the end. Also, what's with Disney Channel's generosity. First the show is airing new episodes for 10 week days in a row, and now they're a reasonable time? They're doing this with Ducktales as well.
I only paid attention to this show a few times but it seemed nice. A TV show seemed to be the right outlet for the characters over another movie. It’s a shame that it ended with a shorter season and from what I read of the finale it seems a bit off, like they didn’t get to do a proper finale. Another shame. With this gone and DuckTales ending, weird that the 2017 era of Disney animation is wrapping it up. Has enough time really passed that it can be called an era? Regardless, it’s still weird to see two warhorses of Disney animation getting the plug pulled at once.
Not even two years old and this comment aged like milk. Season three was ordered much shorter than season two, so they just made 11 min. episodes to cram in more stories. Disney also wanted the show to be more of a comedy, so they didn't do any more story arcs or character development. It basically became a wacky comedy series and not a good one either. You can tell the producers had different plans and they had to wrap them up clumsily at the last minute. At least DuckTales got three full seasons and kept its tone and stories fairly consistent.
Yeah, damn shame. I was interested to see if Hiro and Karmi would seal the deal but they didn’t even try to resolve that. And then they got a mini Baymax to try to have even more kid appeal I guess? Gave me uncomfortable Scrappy vibes.
Mini-Max is pretty funny, and he hands out with Fred rather than Hiro and Baymax so they're a different kind of double act. I'm actually fond of the little guy.
