I'd be surprised if the hands and feet have *ever* been offered for sale by themselves. I'd say it's only worth a few bucks as a source of parts for repair of a complete one.

I honestly think you would probably have a better chance tracking down another full figure, than just the hands and feet parts. It looks like you've been having trouble in that respect anyway.

Considering how much is missing, I don't personally think it's worth $40, but you may find someone selling a junker, that has the parts you're missing. The figure minus these parts is still serviceable, and can be transformed without them, but imo they really help fill out the alt mode, as they add extra boosters to it and such.

It might not hurt to put out a "looking to buy" type thread on the junkion exchange, because you might find someone who's had some misfortune with theirs and we're going to throw it out, because it took a dive from the shelf or something.

Well I finally got a Quantron used off eBay for $180. I notice the foot clips for Lightspeed (Celeritas?) were stressed and one broke when I touched it. Still works, but is this a common thing?

Unfortunately yeah, I would also be careful with Celeritas' hand panels and Sonic Drill's tread panels. Just handle this set carefully in general

Not sure about the kit, but the red piece is a removable cover from one of Scattershot's guns and the orange bit is broken off of the back of one of Strafe's wings.

The kit was from Maketoys for the first wave of figures. For... Nosecone, I think? One of the leg bots had difficulty interfacing with the foot parts, and there were a lot of complaints about broken tabs or something.

Is it worth replacing Warbotron Computron with maketoys?

the Warbotron one looks rather awkward

If you can handle the size disparity. Maketoys is much smaller. I prefer the look of the Maketoys version.

He's a lot more stable but as pointed out smaller. Looks great for legends collections though. Far more pleasurable to pose and has a pretty sharp look to him. I would but only if you can get him for a reasonable price though.

Quantron is definitely closer to the CW size, if that's a concern. The arms and legs are a little more svelte, but he fits in pretty well.

Wellll, what my chances of getting a replacement clip for the right hand? It broke after trying to remove from Blindfires legs.

From the official source, not likely. MakeToys is only barely limping along at the moment, fundraising off of very sporadic products. I doubt they have any Quantron pieces lying around, and certainly no new production run in the wings.

I believe there was a 3D printed replacement floating around out there. Not sure how readily attainable that is at this time.

Hmmm. I wonder if glueing the side that snapped back on and shaving off the nubs, making just a fiction joint would work.

Tried that but the glue didn't work aft a while, it's a short term solution

Alright, I might try that quick fix for now and see if TCP can get me a replacement, then get the shapeways clip if not.

A random question, but I was looking at my old, and I noticed that one of scattershot's hip ratchets was reversed, which makes his legs be ever so slightly off center. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, how difficult is it to fix?

I've dismantled those hips a couple times, if you're comfortable simply removing screws, taking something apart and reassembling it, they're actually quite easy.

The rub is that the maroon crotch piece is glued in. That needs to be removed to access the screws to take apart the waist to get to the hip ratchets. I wasn't able to remove it without breaking the tab it's glued in with. That said, it was very simple to just glue it back on.
