Heh. Amusing. I thought it curious that they used the MP rather than the new SS86, especially as they didn’t use the MP Optimus Prime. (Okay it was just a brief cameo, but a funny one.) The MP does look better in dinosaur mode, to be fair, so maybe that’s why, but shot from the front it’s not much of an issue. Unless the missing front teeth bothered the animators.
Everyone has their own definition of what is "funny", I guess we can agree to disagree. I'm not saying it's impossible for Hasbro to make a funny video, I just saw it and it did nothing for me.
They are a promoting their brand though. And this video makes it seem fun. I literally cant find anything to complain about in this video. They are making transformers seem fun again instead of "...must... ...be... ...depressed... ...pleasepayforNetflix..." It doesnt matter to me which Grimlock they used. Casual fans might not even be able to tell the difference and still by the ss86 one off the shelf because of this.

I love that by about halfway through I started questioning whether I was actually watching this or if somehow I had passed out at my desk and was dreaming it. It's not the craziest thing I've ever seen done by a marketing department, but it's pretty out there. At least it's attempting to be fun. Something we can't say for certain aspects of Transformers at this point.
I need that pirate hat in both MP and SS86 scales. Any third parties? Theoretical inclusion in next Centurion style weaponizer pack?
