I think I prefer the gray over the black. I added some black panel lining and detailing to the guns and I think they look really good

I'd say you're just thinking too seriously on the matter is all. A lot of toy making is more casual and random than you may otherwise assume and some bonus weapons aren't beholden to source material, no different than the usual psx freebies that come with mmc stuff.

Mors if you ordered from psx came with a red set of the hexatron cleavers. And those swords were an original cassy sark weapon design, they never appeared in any of the comics. I wish all his copies came with them cause they're so cool.

Obviously just personal preference but I think the thigh panels are actually designed to slide all the way up as the default position, then move down as needed as you pose the hips. In my opinion it looks a lot better with the hip joints partially covered by the thighs (in addition to the shoulders + torso being as collapsed as possible):

The whole hip area is designed to work best with the panels slid down. That being said I too slide them up when possible, I think it looks more cohesive. Your toy, displayed however you like.

If you don't want them, I'll buy them! Still waiting on my copy from ShowZ(regret not going for express shipping), but extra guns are always nice.

Got out my ring light tonight to take a few photos and poses of this amazing figure. Can you guess where some of the poses are from?

An axe is cool and all, but what I really want is for MMC to make Springarm, so Pax can have his bike (pretty please @griffith76 ?).

And Springarm needs to come with some smokestacks (and maybe some way to attach them to Pexus) that Pexus can stab a guy with.

That’s so weird, I put him in almost the exact pose last night, except with a thumbs up instead of “come here” lol

I wonder what to make of the comic... Normally they characters in the comic are spoilers for upcoming figures? So what's with the dinobots?

Trux (Grimlock) has been shelved for now, but I'm far more interested in Scorponok and Carnivac.

I know there were loads more, but they were the only ones "featuring" inside the cover other than Catilla, which we've had.

What's interesting is that I sold off all my Gundam kits to buy this and it has all of this articulation that until now has been familiar to gundams- sliding thigh panels, working pistons, the forward and back hip swing. Even the way you can flex and extend the waste reminds me of the real grade rx93 nu

Funny story, I'd had my copy a week or two and was wondering why so many people had 4 rifles for him, then on Friday I was searching for an piece that popped off another figure and found a bag with my extra guns in a bag on the floor, fell out the box and I didn't even notice.

Natural lighting is the best. I may still post a bunch of lightbox pics.

Today was clean and rearrange my detolf shelves day. It’s been awhile so I added Optus Pexus to my Prime/miscellaneous robot shelf. I had to have him front and center since I’m sure he won’t stay on the shelf for long cause he’s so fun to play with.
