Ah, yes the Nick Toons figures. Those are kinda bad. That head sculpt on Splinter wasn't bad though. Kinda big, unfortunately.

Yea, I've been looking at some of them and the sculpts overall seem nice, just not as well refined as other mega construx figures

The proportions always seemed off to blend well with the other lines. The human Baxter sculpt is probably the best of the whole lot. I suppose the Triceratons could work if you're okay with the limited articulation and softer details. Same with the Utroms and Foot Robots.

I did buy a lot of those mouser packs though. Found two fresh cases once and easily picked them out through the grope test.

Yea, that's pretty much what I'm seeing with the 2012 toon ones. the foot, utroms and triceratons look like they'd work decently with the other tmnt stuff but that's about it

Yeah, you will like the toon Utrom I sent ya btw (threw it in as an extra bonus). The toon Splinter head is pretty good and could be useful if you are into doing customs at all. Lmk if you need help with any ideas.

Nice! Much appreciated for the extras :)  and I'm thinking that the movie bad guys will look great with the comic turtles. It always sucks getting into lines when they're pretty much dead, but at least I can cherry pick what I'm looking for haha

"Let's have a few pints." Stratos says.
"Hey, know what would be a funny joke...?" Buzz-off asks.
"And who's the group's prankster?" Rio adds.
"So, you gonna peek in Tee-La's room or what?" RamMan challenges.
"Get your ass to the Northern Watch!" Man-at-Arms yells.

    This sucks.

I was thinking that, but the reference to tech Splinter and wagon April being the best you're going to get "unfortunately ", a long with them being technically "toon" as well, kinda refuted that. :( :D

It's okay, we can't all like the same things :)

The unfortunately part was because those were the only decent versions of those characters. Yes the originals are toon, but I meant the more cartoony look of the Nick versions.

Only one section left of Grayskull! Will definitely be finishing it this week and setting up my battle of Grayskull idea once it's done

and looking through some of the TMNT stuff, as far as the 2012 figures go, Slash, the Kraang, the mousers and the Foot Ninja all appear to be fairly decent in terms of proportions and all that. Biggest gripe is the lack of elbows

I wish mine had just one section left. As it is, I'm not sure I have completed one section.

Did cut a hole for the first window finally.

... also realized I failed to plan for connecting my tower to first wall I have started on. That kinda took some wind out of my sails.

I am. Even as conservative as I have been applying it, I have used up a few hundred yard of hot glue by now.

Now this was the price drop I was waiting for...

And for those that might be interested in them, these are also starting on Target's markdown march of 30%, then 50%, then 70% clearance.

    Ebay:
I hit my local Target and they had the Exo-Suits for 50% off ($4.99). They had over 20 in stock, so I might wait to see if they hit 70% to get more.

Mine had them for $4.99 last week, and tonight they were $2.99. Picked up a few extra for toy drive 2021.

Mine are still at $4.99, but I couldn't resist picking up a red one this time. I gave his right arm/hand to one of my green mechs, though.
I'll probably cave on a blue one at some point.
