got my parts for optimus prime today thank you transformer-78 he looks even better with the swivel head sculpt. to bad there wasn`t away to make an ab crunch mod then the official would have an even more of a run for it`s money.

 

Sup people. Got my TE-01 a few days ago from Ali Express after a long wait to get into NZ and I have been loving him. There are some things I'm curious about though.

Has anyone attempted to make battle damage parts for this figure like MP-44 and MS-01? The chest and head being my main interests (though cracked windshields would be cool too). Where can I get/how can I make foil windows? And @transformer_78 could I please get those chest and neck files please?

I'm not sure what version I have. The gun is black instead of light grey, the back of the knees are blue not silver, the windows are tinted in a near opaque light blue, and the V2 head sculpt is included. Any ideas?

maybe some one can make the more rounded forearms for this guy that will have a swivel at the wrist and new hands would be cool.

Whatever version mine was came with a red led in the gun, which disappointed me as I know there's a yellow version. Well by doing some scuffed wire work I can rest happy now (it's super bright!). With a G1 accurate sticker and the toy hax te-01 sticker set for the windows on the way, soon he'll be toon accurate!

Hmph! I still think given MP36 and the ability to get an even more G1 look with that design that TE would be able to beat that and keep the simple blocky aesthetic to him like the toon had. TE-03 Mirage was also a great triumph for them. I’d still like to see a Megatron designed by Ironstar one day as well as a Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus. I know it’s not requested much these days, but I would like to see them do a Shockwave...
