I am looking forward to mine for sure. Yea, i shot myself in the foot and paid the insane price from BBTS, but oh well it happens. And when I put the price into perspective, I paid almost as much for the cell shade constructor so I have really no complaints. If I thought it was too expensive I would not have dropped the cash for it.

As for the final colors, I am ok with it. And if I get tired of it I can always sell it and get my money back back because I know there are many who want it, but of course will not pay the outrageous prices on eBay.

 

I don't see that at all. The moment it was mentioned that he'll do a review people reacted negatively and stated to expect this and that from him. And the guy's basically saying what we'll all been saying, it's an awesome figure, but the cheap outs hurt the figure and only serve to annoy.

If you do that, would you share the STLs? Also, could you design the planet ring to be more movie accurate, leaving out the extra pieces needed for the wing tips in bot mode?
Printing all that will cost a lot of filament, and time, but IMO, would be worth it for the sheer novelty of having both at the same time.

 

The problem wasn't with U.S. buyers, the problem was with Japanese buyers not buying Transformers. Unlike in here where the brand is so evergreen that there's literally an "Evergreen" line, in Japan Transformers are more of a fad that comes and goes with most of the buying populace, and Takara was putting a lot of effort into making stuff like Legends look really good only to hit a wall because a lot of retailers didn't want to even carry it any more. So that's how we ended up with Takara only releasing the same product as Hasbro instead of doing their own (and at least half the releases all just TTMall Exclusive) with the occasional EX or Selects release.

 

I do remember when FT TG sentinel came out. I was a little bummed because the blue was not the blue that was advertised and of course I said oh well and got it anyway. I now have 3 and if I ever decide to sell one I could make a killing on him compared to the original selling price. So yea I can get past the maw and if I am really daring I will get some paint and customize it myself. Cheers!   

 

It's funny because earlier I mentioned how the disclaimers about the final product were similar to other disclaimers I've seen in media (fight cards, sporting events, etc) but was told "No no that's totally different because mumble mumble mumble."

"The only people who aren't mad didn't spend money on it." is also a great way to ignore all the people who did and also aren't mad.

It's also hilarious because one of the most vocal people in here who's mad about it (and attempting to coordinate some combination of legal/social media response) didn't even buy one yet I don't see people such as yourself telling them to stay out of it.

If you're *that* mad about it, just sell it.

I read the email to be that people need to check the shipping address on their account/order and if it was wrong, to then contact customer service.

 

So no email means Haslab just assumes your info is correct after 2 years? I mean it is.. but still. lol

 

Aren't you able to go in to the order and manually change shipping and payment info?

I know at least one TFW user who was selling theirs in BST and said all they had to do was change the address to that of the buyer.

 

That was pretty much what I figured, but I also contacted them 6 months ago to change the address on my Unicron order because I had moved.

 

My info is right, she just hasn't received any emails from HASLAB yet. Just worried a t isn't crossed, or an I dotted... I don't want to miss out on a technicality

 

I know I had to contact customer service to change the shipping address on mine. IIRC, I could change the address on my account, but they had to change it on that specific order.

No, I moved last december and updated my address online but it did not change the address on all my preorders. I had to call Pulse and they had to manually go into all my Preorders and update the address. Unless it changed by now, but that is what I had to do last January.
