This is about where I think the knee to leg length proportions work best.

Yeah, the hyper ankle tilt was posted earlier. It does make certain poses better. However, the ankle needs to be tilted even more than what you want since his inner ankle cover area will then touch the floor.

Other comparison, that you think would be more helpful?

An actual measurement would be the most helpful. Otherwise, a comparison pic next to MP-28 Hot Rod. Thanks.

It's going to vary depending on how far you have his legs extended, but roughly 7 and 5/8" from feet to tips of horns. He can go a bit taller if you extend the knees.

Literally the only changes I would make to this figure are some actual locking knees, a darker color scheme, and maybe some articulated hands. Other than that, he’s basically perfect.

First Kingdom figure I got/unpacked and if this is the way forward, then I'm in it for the ride. Best Cyclonus figure ever made.

My one negative (outside of the knee joints that I fear will cause trouble in the future) is his size. It may be close to accurate next to Optimus, but I really wish he was about 2 cm taller. Mainly because he just doesn't look big enough next to a deluxe carbot. Cyclonus was taller than Galvatron and Optimus, and should look impressive.

(But this is an issue I have with all voyagers and leaders from the wfc lines: I wish they were all about a head taller because they seem a bit small compared to the deluxes.)

Wow! That’s surprising how well they look together. No need for a MP Cyclonus. :)

My Cyclonus has a misfired rivet/pin on one of his wrists where the hand rotates to hide in altmode so it's crooked. I wonder if it's gonna crack some day, though it doesn't offer too much resistance when rotating.

I had the same thing happen with one I bought and returned. The pin was misfired and sheared through the post it is meant to go into. Broke after two turns.

same here with mine, looks like someone at the factory didnt care a lot about this step on the process...

i managed to fix it easily in two minutes anyway, just removed the pin and reinserted it as it was supposed to be, the damage is unvisible as the wrist part cover the rotation point, he hold the articulation as good as the other wrist now

    Pros:
    * Pretty much spot-on screen-accurate robot mode, with better-than-average articulation.
    * Jet mode is clean and solid, with flip-out landing gear, a rarity nowadays.
    * Very little robot mode parts clutter up the jet mode, and robot mode itself is mostly kibble-free, save for what is baked into the visual design. The wings folding up to reduce their robot-mode profile is a nice touch.
    * Paint work is not a lot, but judiciously done. One of the rare toys I've seen where the metallic silver paint and metallic gray plastic actually match well.
    * Nice touches of transparent plastic for cockpit windows, light-piped eyes, and 'tummy gem'.
    * Aside from a transformation-related gap in the back of the thighs, almost completely devoid of hollow spaces.

    Cons/Nitpicks:
    * Like others, mine had a misfired pin/rivet in the wrist hand-swap joint, but I was able to pull it out and fix it (and the parts are held in place when the forearm is closed if you can't replace the pin)
    * I'm not a huge fan of the animation-accurate color scheme. Such a sinister-looking design is held back by lavender and lilac IMO. It would be nice to see this mold in a darker color scheme based on the G1 toy, or his appearance in TF:Animated.
    * Face sculpt seems a little off to me, but not as off-putting as Kup or Blurr, I think.
    * Knee joints are weird/annoying in how they go together with their transformation joints, though you can use that to change his height at will.
    * It's kinda finicky to fish the nosecone needle out for jet mode
    * Gun's a little goofy-looking, IMO

    Overall:
Takes all the good qualities of the 2009 toy and rolls with it. About as good a Cyclonus toy as you're likely to see at this size or price.
