I combined Zeta toys torso with Unique toys legs and MMC arms to create a 52cm Bruticus. To connect the Unique toys leg bots to the Zeta torso and feet I created a set of feet and knee adapters plus a calf cover to bulk it out. These were made out of plastic storage containers cut and filed to shape and some resin casts. This is the main plastic parts supply. I also created shoulder adapters to connect MMC arm bots. Because the MMC bots had the shoulder joint near the middle of the arm it made them rather short looking, so I made the adapter offset to move the shoulder joint higher up. These adapters were made from resin casts copied from the Toyworld constructor shoulders, plus pieces from the Unique toys feet and the Zeta toys hands cut to shape. The gun has had an adapter added to the grip to fit the slot in the MMC hands. Feet adapters on. Slide into existing slots. Swindle slots onto the peg that has a rotating piece on top to lock on. Brawl is partially transformed and pegs onto the tower piece on the foot adapter. Legs complete with resin knee adapter and plastic calf covers. Side view with just legs, very stable. Not much back tilt for this back heavy bot. Arms on. Showing range of outward shoulder movement. Arm bots just slide into cutouts in the adapter. Job done. Took me about 3 months on and off to finish this.
Hands don't quite do it for me. Everything else looks like it was made to combine together, nice work!
This is just about perfect, to me - it combines the best of each set. Zeta's Onslaught is the best looking one, but the limb-bots look pretty bad IMHO.
Id love to see the MMC I'd like to see the MMC arms on the UT. Feel the arms are too big on UT version.
This looks absolutely amazing!!! I wish I had seen this while UT Swindle was still somewhat available...IMO your combo looks better than any of the MP Bruticus sets out there!
