Use crossovers to give the Primes alt modes and make them cooler:

Vector Prime, now an X-wing (or some other Star Wars vehicle I can't think of because it's late.)

Onyx Prime, now motherfucking Godzilla. I think Vertebreak's transformation but modified for being upright would do the job more or less.

Solus Prime, now the Mystery Machine. Since Velma is getting a new show, well Solus is a bit of a geek herself with her love of creating things and large amounts of engineering knowledge. Add some slight cosmetic similarities and there you go. This idea is mostly here because I think it would be funny for an allegedly murdered saintly Prime to turn out to have been hanging out with a stoner and talking dog for 50 years...

Liege Maximo as the Bat Mobile: more of a stretch but the green would go well with the black and it would be a fun subversion plus befitting of a deceptive bot for a hero's car to be a villain.

Here in okieland I can imagine folks getting on board for some college football themed tfs. OU and OSU colors of any two figures, make a two pack out of them.

 

Every passing year makes it less likely that they'll do a headless Sunstreaker with a Hunter O'Nion titan master. HOWEVER,

 

The additional titan masters Hasbro has given us since TR appear to have been popular. TR also seemed to to have good sales and they are even reissuing some figures now.
I don't have hope for much anymore, but am holding out hope that Hasbro will bring the titan master gimmick back for another full run.

 

The titan master gimmick might make a comeback. A toy devoted to a plot from IDW 2005 phase 1 that got aborted early... less likely.

Okay, so hear me out: since ravage and laserbeak are apparently the only soundwave minions that matter, we milk that for all it's worth, like so--

Ravage has a cat mode that turns into a 4-wheeler alt mode, the 4-wheeler can be riden by a bipedal robot mode laserbeak, whose drone alternate mode can combine with ravage cat mode to give ravage wings.

Soundwave turns into a surveillance van/truck, but his legs panel in such a way that the back half of his vehicle can contain/carry the 4-wheeler ravage, while the drone mode laserbeak can perch on top. For this to work ravage and laserbeak would have to be legends at most, and soundwave a voyager at least.

 

I like this, except rather than Laserbeak having a bipedal robot mode, Ravage can be ridden by Rumble/Frenzy.
