You are fabulously wealthy, and you may get first crack at the store exclusives HP will be carrying.

Aw that's a bummer... Well as long as my future orders remain untouched I'm good.

Undecided on renewing. Since I'm usually ordering whole waves of stuff, it's not hard to hit the free shipping threshold in those instances. But early access to exclusives was nice...

It's $50. You get free shipping and I imagine this coming year will see some perks.

Considering most figures being paid for far exceed that, it might be worth it.

I do like hp exclusives. But I am not wealthy, in fact because of shipping from pulse to Canada I am the opposite of wealthy.

In my experience they are very reliable about filling orders.

Well, the good news is that you can pay for it at any time if you need it. I say let it lapse for now and pay when it suits you to. Heck, even the Pulsecon exclusives popped back up as pre-orders so no one really missed anything; some just got it earlier than others.

I'm going to renew. I usually buy 1 or 2 figures per order and throughout the year that's got to have saved me more than the $50 membership fee. Throw in any perks and not having to worry about meeting a minimum for shipping, it's win-win in my book.

They really should make the perks worth the $50 and there are things that they could do that wouldn't cost much.

    1) Minimum 6 hour pre-sale window after all toy reveals, exclusive or not. Put a 1 figure limit in this time frame so there will be a guarantee of leftovers for non-premium members.
    2) Prioritize questions from Prime members during Fan events.
    3) Occasional exclusive sales and discounts.
    4) Maybe offer fan items - not toys but hats, shirts, etc
    5) Most importantly - take that money and put it into better customer service for everyone. At least in the states, the one real drawback to Pulse is the service after buying a figure. They need to have a better program for replacing figures that arrive damaged.
    6) I would suggest regularly scheduled, weekly events. They can be small fan items - interviews with artists and designers, or toy reveals - but do something each week. They already have established Marvel Mondays and Transformer Tuesdays. Go with Force Fridays for Star Wars, maybe Power Ranger Thursday, and leave Wednesday as a wild card for any of the other toylines.

Other than early access to products or exclusives I can't think of another thing that could make me want to renew.

Yeah, totally not renewing. Their return system is horrible to the point where I only buy exclusives from them, and the shipping from those would come to significantly less than $50. Also their stock sells out so quickly even some of their exclusives I have to get elsewhere, so there's that. $10, maybe $20, it'd be worth it. Not $50.

I'm letting my membership expire. Honestly, besides the free shipping there is no benefit to the service. I re-read their list of EPIC perks and they have no value to me.

When they started up Pulse Premium they promised us there were all sorts of terrific benefits "coming soon". Here we are two years later and we are still waiting.

I think I'll keep the premium membership. The free shipping for my TF's and Marvel Legends preorders throughout the year pretty much covers the cost, plus the chance to get SDCC exclusives and supposedly a small amount of Target and Walmart store exclusives will be reserved for Pulse members.

Lol, we all got in for free, right?
Is there anyone here who actually paid for Pulse?

Remember that survey where they asked about our thoughts on various options for obtaining premium (like spending over certain amount on products, etc.)? Did anything ever come of that?

Yeah, I'm not renewing. I'll just use bbts. Most exclusives I don't buy. If for some reason I need to at some point, I'll renew. At this point I don't see enough benefits to justify the cost.

Yes. It's always on option on the storefront. Just remember that shipping is applied at the time of the order, not when the items come in stock. And I'm not sure if signing up for Premium after the fact would apply free shipping retroactively.

I'll probably renew it for at least one year to see how it goes. Being able to casually drop one-off POs on Selects stuff (especially with how randomly they get released) is handy.
