The problem is, his left hand is already connected to a bigger weapon. I want to balance this thing somehow, and i don't like my bots to be left-handed.
But i don't even like bots with no weapon storage in alt mode, so... 

 

As a BW super fan believe me the tail claw on the left hand is nothing. The Trex head fusion canon is his main weapon. Blocking it with a sword would neuter him.

 

I still think a robot with a sword looks a lot cooler than a robot with a fusion cannon.
Firearms have a major issue: they can go out of ammo.
I know what you may think: a blade edge could loose its... huh... sharpness? But it's a slow process that you can easily fix with a rock on a battlefield in few minutes while your army keeps the enemy away from you.
And you can find rocks everywhere. But you can't use rocks as ammo for a gun, and i'm pretty sure it doesn't work even with fusion cannons.

Also, a sword that isn't sharp is still a better weapon than a gun/cannon without ammo. You can both use it as a mace/stick and stab enemies with its tip.

So, by my opinion, you should always bring firearms in a battle as a long-range/assault weapon, but you should never forget to bring also a sword of some kind, just in case.

That is why i can't think about a robot with no sword 

 

Good point, but megs has almost enough poseability in the show. The toy have some issues but i can ignore it.

 

But this isn’t real life and they are robots that use energon. They rarely use ammo and instead use some renewable energy source.

plus a good amount of bots use energy swords. Which would have the same downfall as a gun.

Plus Indian Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark will always prove why fire arms will beat a sword.

 

Bro this storm is crazy. I'm all the way up near Oklahoma City and we got almost 5 inches of snow a couple days ago and none of it's gonna melt till Friday because that'll be the next time temperatures get above freezing. I know some of yall more northern people will probably roll your eyes at this but this is wild for someone as far south as I am. We very rarely get this much snow and this is the first time in my memory that temperatures have gotten below 0°F

I considered trying to go outside to take some cool pictures of figures in the snow but damn it's cold. I don't even have a coat heavier than a thick hoodie

 

I'm the same way. I'm right handed, therefore, every bot in my collection is right handed if possible.

 

Has that toy/Marvel UK Galvatron been confirmed? I'm in if so... and someone on Shapeways needs to produce a half-destroyed replacement head like he ended up with in Time Wars. I need me a completely insane, maniacally raging Galvatron.

I always hope people in regions that don't have the infrastructure to deal with snow are okay on days like today, but yeah, also I've lived in Chicago for 20 years and can't help looking out the window at the solid sheet of white coming down and thinking, "I went out for paczkis today."

 

Yeah man, the south is brutally ill-prepared for this kinda weather. The power grid across Texas went down within a couple hours. 2Mil+ people without power/heat and its supposed to be single digits and lower for a lot of areas. It's lowkey terrifying lol. Hope everyone on here dealing with any crazy weather is staying warm and safe!

I wanted to take more pics in the snow with other figures, but I literally just took those two shots and got my happy ass back inside. This kinda cold hurts lol.

The worst part about you guys down south getting snow like that is the lack of infrastructure. Because of that there’s horrific car wrecks. Hopefully all the southern US TFW-ers stay warm band safe through it.

 

Indy had also a whip as a spare weapon (that isn't better than a sword if you know how to use both), and energon guns could go out of ammo i guess... 

But mainly, it's just that i like swords. Probably because i know how to use them better than anything else.

Yeah, right? Otherwise it would feel kinda... unnatural.
