How are people ranking the 3K figures so far?

Personally I'm going to say Megatron > Tarn > Star Saber > Prime > Drift.

They seem to be progressing with each new release, so the future of this line is very exciting.

    For me it's:

    Megatron
    Optimus Prime
    Tarn
    Star Saber
    Drift

But honestly they're all really fantastic. Drift may also be at the bottom of the list but I also appreciate the more simplistic and basic nature of him. As the others can be a little crazy with all the accessories. Everyone of them has wowed me so far and can easily move up or down the list of favorites on any given day.

    My list is:

    Star Saber
    Drift
    Optimus Prime
    Tarn

Star Saber is the most solid so far. He has the least amount of issues and is fun to play with.
Due to the smaller size Drift has less problems with the joint holding up the limbs. I also think he is doing the gimmick of panels moving around while bending joints the best. He has an annoying wobble in the middle of his torso where a joint has too much play.
With Optimus you can tell that the joints on these figures need to be better constructed since he has loose knees and hips.
Tarn is build well but has these annoying fingers that pop out of the ball sockets all the time. He also has the wonkiest proportions out of all of them with legs that are too short and skinny for his upper torso. And his arms are too long and bulky. Tarns head sculpt is money though.

    Megatron
    SG Drift
But the competition is unfair as I stan Bomber Megatron so hard lol

Whenever BBTS gets Dark Star Saber in stock, he’ll go in the middle.

While I like the proportions on Tarn, making him look like a bruiser, I agree with you on the fingers. From the photos it looks like the retool of Tarn as The Fallen will have the same jointed fingers/claws, where as all the other figures have the fixed hands, swappable to different poses.

I really wanted to buy Tarn but that finger thing changed my mind. Just my luck you walk by him in your display one day and notice he's missing a finger or 2 and you have no idea where they went

I wish they’d done more remolding for The Fallen. They could’ve changed his legs a little bit, as well as different hands. But alas

It is definitely a lazy retool(I don't think it has enough changed parts to be considered a remold), by far the laziest I've seen flame toys' been since ever. On the grey prototype shown off way back when, it didn't look so bad, but now with the colours, it just doesn't stand out to me. But I've already said my piece on this thread previously so no point rehashing it.

Surprised I haven't gotten a notice for megatron yet, but then again it's Singapore and most things shipped from overseas run a lot later than the release date, even before the pandemic

So do you guys that bought the reissue of Tarn have any QC issues? Or is he a good solid figure?

Interesting you say that about the gray prototype, because I actually thought the same thing. The angles and lines are more apparent without the black, which makes it more visually interesting. But yeah unless they drastically change something from now to release (which is possible but unlikely), the figure is the way it is so whatever. I’m still interested in it.

Hopefully USA Gundam Store ships Megatron soon, the wait is grueling

Gave this guy a shot. Love the look, but, for whatever reason, I’m really tempted to sell him. This is my 3rd 3K figure, all sold/may be sold. Optimus was my favorite (I was just bummed by him missing the turbo axe), and I have the SG on order.

Anyways, if anyone is interested, he will be on the BST for $510 shipped.

Apologies if this has been asked/answered already but is there any word of any more of the line being reissued like Tarn? I’m late to the game and Optimus and Star Saber are now sold out everywhere unfortunately.

It’s hard to say anything for sure, but I’m 90% certain that OP will be reissued. His price is climbing up on the secondary market and FT will likely take note.

I’ve gotta say, he is a great figure and it may be worth it just to PO the SG one to own the mold.

If you own the original optimus, is there any reason to buy SG optimus besides just for the colours? The broken mirror is cool and all but I feel there was more of an incentive to buy SG drift if you had the original bc of the new weapons and holsters
