I may be one of the first to post a video review (in French) of Core class Megatron from Kingdom.
Part of the second wave core class, it is perfect for titan and commander class size like SkyLynx and Scorponok

Deluxe and Core class wave 2 has been released here in France.

Any chance you could do a comparison between Core Megatron and Core Optimus??

 

unfortunatelly I didn't buy him yet. Only rattrap, that is why I used him and other legend class figures

 

God damn feet hanging out the back as usual

 

Is it a drawback, or a homage of the voyager one?

They just cant figure it out can they? Easy pass for me.

 

Silver metallic paint too! I had hoped WFC Earthrise and Siegr had been in that colour, although I suppose a simple light grey is better for the tank mode.

 

this looks horrendous. how is every core class that's a repeat of an older legends figure is really bad? the 2013 optimus, megatron and starscream weren't anything groundbreaking but they beat the snot out of the kingdom ones so far.

 

Can we get a upscaled KO of this as Armada Megs? 

 

Not interested.  Poor sculpt and I am not going to collect all of the same characters again in a new size class.

There, was it really that hard to make a good Megatron head sculpt?

 

If you say so. I have Optimus,and he is leagues better than the old one.

 

PLEASE, someone tell me I am not the only one seeing that mushroom peg on his left wrist, or am I crazy? 

 

The feet out the back are pretty poor, as are the giant tread shoulders (at least for G1 Megatron). I feel like the other Core figures have done more with the space they have, then Megatron comes along and does what needs to be done rather than what can be done. He looks okay (that headsculpt in particular is great), but I don't think he's the best modern G1 Megatron.

 

Perhaps on your planet they are worse, here on Earth the Core figures I have are great.

 

I can't believe that he needs not one but two guns for his tank mode and the cannon still looks comically dinky.

Like I'm glad he comes with a G1 Meg's reference, but sad it's necessary for the transformation and sadder it still doesn't look good.

 

I dunno what y'all are complaining about. It's a lil baby megs that comes with an even smaller gun megs. How can you not love that

 

hopefully for the rumored Netflix voyager...?
