Despite his noggin, blurr is pretty cool, neat transformation.

Finally ordered some UV film after seeing the colour of Classics Magnus from being on display in my old house... The G1 Jetfire I have is whiter than that!

Blurr's face isn't perfect, but I have more issue with his wizards sleeves...

Fair play. I figured it was Hasbro being their usual useless selves. I can be more patient now that I know BW Megs is almost here so I get time between Dinos.

I honestly do not get why it is so hard for Hasbro UK (Covid and Brecit aside) to sort logistics out considering other companies seem to manage well enough.

Good call, and harking back to other Vote-tested characters but, man, Needlenose just cannot catch a break! :lol
All for a proper G1 homage Sandstorm, Broadside though? Comics look or GTFO! :p
Trying not to get my hopes up about a finally-finished '87 Targetmasters team but it does seem disappointingly likely that re-do's doesn't suggest missing characters, and new Titan/Head Masters doesn't smack as likely either, I fear.
Again this seems sadly correct thinking, even though I'd love a more G1-accurate current Leader class Scattershot with the compatibility to torso for my UW Technobots!

Maybe there will be some nice surprises scattered amongst though?

Is this an ongoing issue for Hasbro EU/UK or more of a COVID related one?

My friend is working on a project that'll touch on distribution/availability of Fan product outside the US so any input would be welcome.

    Feel free to DM.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm not feeling that virtuous right now! :(

Yeah, I'll admit that one was a stretch purely based on the fact that a lot of movie bots got re-released as Targetmasters.

Speaking of which, Cyconus' Matrix Workshop kit arrived today: Targetmaster or IDW? Why not both?
    20210213_115824-01.jpeg
He also comes with his G1 toy gun and animation gun (same as the gun this figure comes with but more detailed, less gappy). Sadly, none are effects compatible. Pics on request.

THIS. This pains me. I don't think anyone even made a comics accurate head/faceplate for Broadside, not 3rd party or even Shapeways? :(

Hasbro UK have had issues for years and constantly make promises to improve...then they don't.

I should have held my tongue.

It's too early in the design process for realistic speculation.

So just take it easy guys I'll let you know more tidbits once things are confirmed.

I don't want us to have another Gears/Polar Claw situation on our hands.

Well confidentially, the UK TF team roster has changed quite frequently over the past 6-7years which probably doesn't help.

On the plus side the Regional Brand manager who was a complete knob just left which is nice.

Honestly just not great on bulk accounts, Zavvi are bad customer service wise with continuity and overselling but they suffer the same fate, Forbidden Planet etc etc, It seems if you're doing exclusives, Volume or a project like Unicron you are just left floating in limbo to chase everything rather than having an anchor there helping you out.

Some weeks they can't even get an order code correct, Apparently because we got a digit wrong they just left it off the order rather than telling us about it, that is what we're up against.

That's as convincing as my wife continuing to tell my 10 year old that Santa is real, lol!

I take this is a different friend to Johnny Hasbro-mole? ;)

While I'm not saying that Hasbro should make a black and red Sunstreaker (and a black and blue one (Thank you ID for letting me know that Deep Cover is on his way)) .

I'm just saying that it's bothering me that I have a mis-match in my collection. :p

    Randomness...

    Baby, it's cold outside.

I did the biggest order possible for SS86 knowing Hasbro would fuck it up as usual. Anything else was costing £2-3 postage/site price difference in each class, minimum. Often each figure in a class was a few quid dearer on a given site too! Fuck that sky high when you're buying £21 deluxes and £30 voyagers.

It's now better all-in for me to order Pops from Australia. Well done, Fucko.

    SS86 Grimlock is amazing.

    Also, the animal. He plots.

Huh, I genuinely did not know that. Then again I only ever had the small ones as a kid.

Hah! I didn't know that, then again I only ever saw the GWS press stuff about that I can see why they wouldn't be keen to bring that up.

Well, yeah the license cost has always increased the price as well as not just the plastic, but I was speaking more generally not just licensed themes. I do wonder if the license cost has changed over time too? Also worth noting in the past few years LEGO increased the UK prices due to that which must not be named, and that's not speculation, that's what LEGO said. And again, 2007 is over a decade ago.
Not daying it doesn't suck LEGO has got more expensive, but TBH? On the whole I think LEGO is worth every penny... not to say I won't take advantage of deals if I see them though but that's being a savvy consumer :)  also LEGO sets tend to be getting more elaborate.

    Ok then

Well as I say, it's purely a personal preference thing for me, metal Transformers - or indeed toys in general - just don't appeal to me :)  I guess I also just don't see the heft appeal so much due to wanting to transform and play with them often and due to various medical conditions I can have trouble lifting things so I'd rather not have a toy that is really weighty.

Athena is a lovely figure. I think I was actually the first UK Threadizen to get her (or post about her at least?) Though I'm not 100% sure on that. Still, it was a fun time :D

Oh and my advice I've given before: When removing the headmaster from robot mode, make sure to kind of tip it forwards rather than try and pull straight up. It seems to be engineered for that to release the head. Pulling straight up is a good way to pop it off the HM's neck balljoint. I'm just glad it didn't snap it as I initially thought I had done!

Out of curiosity, how's the tolerance on the Headmaster figure's left leg? On mine it's a bit loose and prone to popping off at the hip, especially when seating her in car mode.

When I got Vertrebreak I thought she looked like a Bayformers Slash :D  and the Transformation scheme is quite similar... the main difference being that Vertebreak has the same legs in robot and dino mode whereas Slash's bot mode arms become her Dino legs and her robo legs fold along her body whereas Vertebreak's robot arms fold along the belly in dino mode. Also the head transformation is quite different and of course her tail partsforms as a weapon. Really Vertebreak kind of feels like Slash turned back to front in some ways. I should dig Slash out sometime and have the two raptor girls have at it :D
Would be kind of cool to see a new Slash made using Vertebreak's transformation scheme but less skeletal.

Nuke the whole area from orbit, it's the only way to be sure!

I half expected the Chuckle Brothers on Optimus' face for a moment- WAIT!, NO, WHAT HAVE I SAID!?

I'd love to see Dreadwind and Darkwing using something like the Duocon port but in vehicle mode for a proper Dreadwing... bonus points if they gave Dreadwing a robot mode too, maybe taking cues from TFP Dreadwing :)

    :lol

    He's just that good.

:lol  The complete lack of context just makes it better :lolol

    Polar Gears confirmed!

Oh man, thank you so much for putting up with this hassle for us <3

Edit: Flixjack has arrived, pictures to follow!

Now I need a Slash, so to speak... they'd probably have to call her Autobot Slash or something since NECA recently used the name for TMNT.

Unless it's unlikely to drop or I'm buying little anyway, I don't buy Lego until it's discounted now. And I've a feeling I'm subsidising the licences even buying City and Creator stuff tbh. I love building it but once it's finished I often struggle to justify the cost of many sets!

I believe @nemisispringer customed one with a Nightbeat Titan Master? It's a great idea, yellow's an ideal base for red-facing, plus a shouty gob is ideal for a Wrecker, it's just figuring out the red horns!
Top info but this might be a misquote of my Eeyore-tinted glasses speculation about the next line? Or did you have a ha'penn'orth regarding my sadsack musings that the Bidness post subsumed? (My posting brain meanders like that all the time, hence the often-belated birthday catch-ups!)
Me? Fishing for more hints? Perish the thought!
