Now we have to put up with 'insert actress name here' wants to play Cara Dune and this is what 'insert actress name here' would look like as Cara Dune' articles and stupid fan casting ideas.

I do hope they put another physically capable woman in Mandalorian. I liked Carano on the show because we had a woman that actually could kick someone’s ass. I hope they find someone else to fit this non-standard female role because seeing tiny Hollywood waifs in ass-kicking roles is exhausting and there are plenty of badass chicks in the world they can bring on. It’s good representation too.

She does. Cara is more of a pivotal character though.

You mean the Skywalker Dynasty? The ruling elite of Star Wars?

Is she? Can't say I've seen her contribute anything that would be considered "pivotal".

Really? What do you know about Koska? What’s her story? Where is she from? Who was she before? What is her motivation? How many seasons was she in?

Now answer those questions about Cara. Whether or not she was a great character, she had a back-story and a relationship with Mando and was being positioned for a larger role. Obviously. What the fuck is Koska except Mandalorian muscle. Stupid statements aggravate me.

    spot on

look enough of this revisionist history. real world implications aside cara dune was a MAJOR supporting character borderline main character on this show. she had as much backstory and potential to make her main character status. going back to that "is there interest in that" statement about figures...you're delusional if you don't think cara dune was a popular character in this show. grogu..din..cara. that's the popularity hierarchy in this show especially with season one. little girls loved the character. fans loved the character. like i said she had multiple figures in multiple lines. the character made an impact with people.

we gotta stop pretending cara dune wasn't a popular character that didn't contribute to the show. that's nonsense.

She was definitely a popular character, considering they were planning on spinning her off.

And since they were planning on spinning her off, her loss won't impact the Mandalorian because the plan was for it to go on without her either way.

Yup. I don’t think she was critical and the show can’t go on without her but she was obviously a key character with development plans. I was happy when she was cast because I thought she brought alot of positives I wish it hadn’t gone this way. The self-inflicted situation is unfortunate.

It won’t...but it kicks the world-building in the ass. It would have been interesting to have Rangers of the NR have a relationship with Mando.... now it’s unrelated. It’s unfortunate.

Maybe. We don't know anything else about it, she may not have been the only character coming over. And it doesn't drop for a couple of years still, I'm sure. There's lots of time to connect other dots between shows.

Okay tell me what stupid statement I made slick. Cause here’s the fucking definition of pivotal.

A pivotal role, point or figure in something is one that is very important and affects the success of that thing.

So by definition Cara Dune was a pivotal character in Mandalorian. Which has nothing to do with actress. So why don’t you elaborate chief.

They probably won't recast the character and will offhandedly mentioned her death or write her out entirely.

Eh, the New Republic learned Dune let Mayfeld go, so they tossed her in prison instead. End of story.
