I traded away Earthrise Starscream two weeks after I got him. Jet mode was too small for my taste. I was disheartened when ER Starscream was announced as I suspected there'd be no more Siege Seeker repaints.

I'd love to get SiegeScream repainted as Sandstorm, Nacelle and the rest.

I do like the War Within inspired Cybertron Seeker mold. I love the Classics Dirge repaint and it's a shame we didn't get Thrust and Ramjet from it. The Coneheads always looked like tougher Seekers and the bulky Cybertron mold conveys that. Plus I prefer them without cone heads.

Am I the only one who prefers Studio Series Cliffjumper to the Earthrise figure?

Nope. That mold doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets.

I know it's strange but the detailed face reminds me of the somewhat busy art in the first G1 comics particularly where CJ, Prowl, Hound and Brawn fought Decepticons at the Drive Through.

Plus I loved his scene in the Bumblebee movie. The expressive animation of his face was fantastic.

@Revan1307 Eh, the functionality is kinda iffy (the waldos have limited articulation, the cockpit is a dummy, there's no ammo pieces for the cannons, places to mount weapons are limited).
Although what it really needs is less upgrades to the existing box and more a 1/32 scale replacement that could do for Titan/Prime masters what the original trailer does for Dianauts while also being big enough to hold non-Minibot cars.

@TonyStink and @ZombehDino We already had toys based on those revisions of the tetrajet, though: The Titanium Series Seeker mold and the Cybertron Starscream mold. What we didn't have was an official toy of the G1 cartoon tetrajet design as-was. And the SIEGE mold took a decent stab at it, even if it wound up with G1 Blurr legs (and those still made for passable engines). If anything, what would have improved transformation was changing up the robot mode a bit.

Here's my opinion: Combiner Wars Optimus Prime may be a dodgy torso because the mold had more effort put into the truck and standalone robot modes... but by that same token he's actually a rather decent CHUG Optimus and in some respects better than SIEGE/Earthrise (especially size/scale). In fact, I've stuck with him instead of getting either.

I agree. The aesthetic is a bit over-stylized for my collection and there’s no denying the huge kibble-to-body ratio, but she does look brilliant. Titans Return Arcee remains my favorite, though.

TR looks great but is just too expensive, she should have been a general release.

But I'm actually good with my 30th version as my Arcee. She was the one to beat when ER was anounced, and while I never had it in hand, the reviews of the ER version, pushed me to get the 30th instead.... as a dual set with the 30th Chromia, I've ended up "replacing" Chromia in my story with the 30th version as she also fells like an upgrade to the Siege one.

I've rename my Cyberverse one as "Preeka" (A play on a mix of different languages words for "small/young beauty") in my graphic story, as she's Arcee's younger sister, with a personality that matches her looks more... more flirtish, but highly skilled... started as trying to be like her older sister, but found her own place and skillsets.

I really wish that the "re-release" of the headmasters with the G1 boxes would been the figures that were the hard to get ones and not the shelfwarmers they just did (except for Brainstorm as he was a hard to find one), so they did get 1 out of 4 right. (So Arcee, Windblade, Twin Twist, and the jets - Slugslinger, Misfire, Triggerhappy).. they are starting to trickle in stores and I'm hoping to find a Brainstorm which I never saw in stores over here.

The 30th is a good representation if that’s your thing— I just dislike the “pinup girl” look in feminine TFs. Cyberverse Arcee is obviously feminine without looking like a near-naked woman carrying camping gear while wearing a stupid helmet. And TR is way too expensive, I agree, but the aesthetic nails it for me.

SS49 Bumblebee looks uglier than his 1973 variant and the TLK deluxe.

Car Robots/RiD is still the best TF line of the 2000s, Fire Convoy is still the best "Super Mode" Optimus toy, and the fact we haven't seen a single thing from it other than a slight nod in an Ultra Magnus alt mode is infuriating to me.

Alright, here's one. Dinobot is a great character. His design is ugly as hell.

Not sure if this one is really unpopular, but Nemesis Prime should show up in his Armada body more frequently, because it was his first proper body.

Here's one: The Titanium line should return.

Improved yes, but maintain the same alt/robot designs as they are superb.

Seriously, some are pieces of art:

This is going to sound stupid-- especially from someone who doesn't even like RID15-- but I think I would be interested in a Masterpiece-level figure of Strongarm. I think she represents what a modern "fembot" should look like, and I really like her design. I just think her toy figure was developed at a price point that doesn't make the most of its potential.

I'd rather have figures use actual black plastic and paint over the charcoal gray of the current G1 Masterpieces.

Going *way* back to the origins of CHUG, here's how I wish the earlier lineup had been done. Make Grimlock the third Voyager class figure in the Classics line. It's still my favorite Grimlock design, and if it were larger and slightly more intricately engineered I'd use it as my CHUG Grimlock. Take Powerglide from the Universe 2.0 line and give him the extra Deluxe class slot so that he'd scale with all the other CHUG Minibots that have been done in Deluxe through the years. And then, most importantly, use the opened up third U2.0 Ultra class slot for Jetfire. The Stormbringer design is a perfect fusion of the G1 toy and cartoon designs, but the figure just came a little too soon. If only that figure had been made a little bigger, and with slightly more updated engineering to give him passable articulation, proper feet, and the ability to balance properly while standing up, it would still be the definitive representation of the character for those of us who don't want a straight up Skyfire design.
So basically just do a proper War Within line? I'd be down. It had such better Cybertronian modes than Siege.
