Big Bang’s base mode looks insane.

 

I wish the shoulder cannons on this guy were individually articulated with hinge/swivels. That way they could be positioned up and down as well as side to side.

 

Yeah I’m sure MMC will do a Dinoking and then probably Monstructor.

TCP is showing a March release, so I'm assuming release is after CNY.

 

They had it January at one point. Usually, once the original release date passes, they just start rolling forward a month at a time.

 

So do we know if this is gonna have a PSX exclusive accessory?

I can't think of anything to include other than maybe a gold chrome chest star to swap in.

 

I would love for them to sneak in a micromaster Hotrod like the original Star Convoy. It would be a nice surprise.

 

Or the little black truck. Especially since a legends Hot Rod Is easier to come by.

 

Yeah that’s probably a bit high budget for a PSX accessory. If they wanted to include Hotrod they’d have probably just included it with the whole figure and made it a bit more expensive.

 

Maybe he’ll get an eventual expansion pack. A micromaster hot rod, alternate head, some other stuff...?

 

That’d be cool. Other stuff could include the micromaster trailer mentioned above, a Zodiac sphere, maybe some ramps or track for a base mode.

And if MMC did decide to do more Battlestars characters they could later release that Micromaster trailer in a multipack or with the corresponding Micromaster partners for the larger bots.

 

definitely, all of that would be awesome. some ramps and parts to give him a battle station mode would be excellent.

I love base building. They’d pretty much have me if they designed a unified ramp system and started making city bots or figures with extra base modes. Especially if they were doing grandus and other characters from this series

 

You think they’ll get around to Super Megatron?

so is Rodimus included with this Star Convoy?

 

Ocular Max confirmed for me on Facebook that Star Convoy will scale with Carnifex, 13" and 12". That's good enough for me to not need Ginrai and Super Megatron.

I mean, as affordable as Stellarus is you could just buy a Legends-class Hot Rod separately...
