Does anyone know when to expect an announcement of this next MPM?

 

Well considering its already been found in Target computers, and the next main line mp after Arcee isn't scheduled until June, my guess is an announcement in the next couple of months and a release in April or May.

 

It would be really good to see another Decepticon in 2021... Starscream is really good and made me hype for the 2007 Deps... Blackout would be my best wish. And with the First mpm of 2021 Just being a new Bee (77 Bee I Hope) there Is no reason why they shouldn't release a brand new Decepticon mold....

I believe the leaked listing had Bumblebee in the name... which would make it another Bumblebee (I guess the 77 Camaro version?) or a character from the Bumblebee movie, who would have to be Optimus Prime.

If they keep going with MPMs, the next Movie 1 character unquestionably has to be Blackout. If they expand to the other movies, there are a few good candidates - Sideswipe, Sentinel Prime, ROTF Megatron, Shockwave - but I'm not convinced that they'll do that.

 

I really hope it's 77 Camaro Bee but also looking forward to a ROTF Bee at some point also, as that was my favourite of hus modern Camaro forms. Hopefully they get the deco right this time compared to MPM3 as well.

If it is the ROTF one that gets announced next though, would that be a bad sign that they don't intend to finish out the '07 cast?

 

Personally, I'd say it's a 50/50 if they announce a RotF Bumblebee next. Could easily just be them wanting to put out a figure that requires minimal retooling whilst they work on something resource-intensive such as Brawl or Blackout. Could also be a way to keep the releases balanced with 1 Autobot and 1 Decepticon per year. But could also be a bad sign that Movie 1 won't be completed...lot of variables that we'll never know that are gonna come into play here.

 

Are there any movieverse leakers on these boards? I'm dying for more info on the next figure. I'm sure it's beater bee but I wanna know for sure, ya know?

 

The previously leaked from target MPM bumblebee has turned out to be a reissue of the VW bumblebee figure with an apparent reissue of barricade on the way too. Didn't end up having any new packaging for the buzzworthy bumblebee line either.
Unless there's more info suggesting a New 77 MPM bee i think that rumor has been crushed

 

It's not a reissue. It's been confirmed by Nevermore to be old stock

My guess is that an MPM or two will probably be announced/released the second half of 2021.

 

Ah, I'd read that previous post as saying there won't be a 77 Camaro Bee and the two upcoming are MPM 5 & 7 reissues. Which would suck if that is the case. I want an old Camaro Bee.

Hopefully that or sooner.

they can totally reveal the new optimus and bumblebee as the bridge scene at the end of the bee movie now! I’ve got a feeling we’re also in for one more MPM figure outside of these two

 

From what’s been said it’ll be the ‘07 version of ‘77 bee to go with the barricade reissue.

 

Im aware of that, my point was moreso being that they could display their reveal like below (Similar to how megatron and jazz recreated the scene of Jazz being ripped apart)

On that note, who knows if we will get rusty or clean 77 bee, but i can see this scene being recreated for the reveal as both figures are rumored for release. calling it now
