    Toys,
Got another Classified Series Ninja imminent from SAF and will probably be getting one more next week if they still have any left.

This image has also just dropped,
[IMG]Boba by Brendan Mitchell, on Flickr

Still not sure I care much about Fett as a character, but it'll likely be more posable than a fully armoured version and if they reuse the damaged armour for Cobb Vanth I'm definitely intrested in him.

Apparently Pedro Pascal is being targeted by social media again so the way things are going the only cast member left for series 3 could easily be the Grogu puppet....and he's already got form for nicking eggs off the Frog Lady.

He's 66 now! He does do a few 'real' stunts and on those occasions shows a brief flicker of the Chan of old, but those appearances are fleeting. With the other younger cast there is a liberal use of wirework, now I don't mind wirework if done well, but they shoot it with such a strange framerate, or maybe the post production process to remove the wires messed up but a lot of the stunts just look strange.

The beginning of the film starts well because it's set in Chinese New Year celebrations in London... and actually I was at that particular event in the VIP area. In the footage they use you can see folk who I know, so that's a bit of a buzz. It's all downhill after that though. At the end of the film they drive this convoy of gold cars through Dubai and I could SWEAR the cars are CG superimposed onto real streets. Except, in the making of clips in the credits those cars were real? WTAF?

Anyway I broke out the nice camera (first time in ages, battery was stone dead), filtered the lights and took a few shots of the Hot Toys Endgame Black Widow...

Oh... OK yeah. That does look pretty damn spectacular. While you're here dig out those Calendar 3D glasses eh?

I keep seeing this interview pop up from time to time. It's true. I can't really think of modern stars where i would go watch a movie just because that person is starring in it. I guess dwayne Johnson and jason statham are the only ones. Everyone else in that category is 80's/90's.

    That's actually a brilliant idea!

Personally I never did watch something for who was in it, though the opposite is true! Melissa McCarthy movies... I've tried, man.

I increasingly think that "The Running Man" is some kind of warning from another race or a time traveller :D

"They Live" has a strong message about brainwashing and between them both movies have themes that seemed harmless enough in the 80's, but not so much now.

Hey, Wheejack did the best he could and it was the only way to get him out of a beserker mind (man, we missed out on only having the BT fiction with no official translation)

My money is on the ginge.

    "Stay awhile...……..…....stay forevaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa".

I bought, off my lovely local independent Retroformers store - Kingdom Blackie (cause I haven't got one except animated that doesn't fit with anything), Cheetor, because she needs a goodie creature to fight (not Bill Oddie...I am showing my age today), and the dinosaur fella, cause I might want him one day and you know supply nowadays, and I, like Baldrick, might have a cunning plan...

He is getting the 86'ers in and Scorponok so that is me on the hook for a few months at least....bang goes my ton credit note on the big green fella (not Lou Ferrigno).

    Laters from the curmudgeon.

That was almost my first modern Grimlock

Fortunately I had already owned the Wheeljack version of the mould which did enough to put me off :D

    Present Grimlocks are,

    Fans Toys
    MP08 (original release)
MechFans Toys OSKO of the DX9 figure
    World's Smallest by JustIt Toys

I also recently resold the Iron Factory one as part of the set but am possibly looking at getting their new one despite the samurai tangent they're going on with some upcoming releases.

MP08 will go with the few SS '86 bots and related figures I'm getting, I just need either Newage or Magic Square to do a decent Wheelie even if it's non transformable as I want a posable one, that thing with SS '86 Grimlock is permanently squatting and needs an estimated £25 worth of gap fillers to look presentable.

Anyone here got any Mini-Con label sheets from toyhax? I know it’s a shot in the dark but I’d love to put one on the Sparkplug that comes with FansHobby Naval Commander (hopefully Kapow get their stock really soon!) but don’t want to put in an order for just one sheet of labels. @MyTea Boc sorted me out big time with some spares of his too :)

Could maybe poke around for any Armada/Energon minicons people have laying around? I’d love to get some OG ones since the Micromaster updates in Siege and ER have really hit that sweet spot for me.

I know I'm biased but I like this grimlock. It's nice to see something different with him. Sure the transformation can be a pain and I'm not sure I want this to be his only mode but who else are you going to put in a silver Mustang?

My only comment on this whole saga. I really dislike that it simply becomes whoever is the most vocal gets what they want - not a measured approach.

I will let the mods delete this section - if the president of America can basically encourage a riot and get away scott free (like it is looking like), but other’s get fired from their job (no matter if their comment is appropriate or not), then something is wrong with the world.
