It's now up on BBTS for $220.
Still waiting for Amazon Japan to open orders for the US.

Edit: Huh, the price BBTS has it at is only a little bit more than A_J before shipping.
Looks like BBTS wins this round.
Also, this, the Extra Pod and DA-73 are all slated for July.
    Oof, expensive month.

Surprised they are so cheap on NA sites. Usually the Diaclone figures don't drop that much from initial pre-order.

Was hoping the shade of blue would be darker on the ground suits from the DA-64 set. I was hoping more Crimson Fist and less Ultrasmurf.

Actually I’m enamored with the shades of blue on the new Dianauts and Maneuver suits. That’s why I’m going all in on this new color scheme and buying multiples.

    Hello,
I haven't used TFW in YEARS... lol. Recently, I got into Diaclone Reboot and met @puma via eBay. He recommend I check these threads. I have a lot of reading to do...
Images of the upcoming Convoy got me interested. I ordered a few of the small sets and fell in love with Diaclone. A chance to develop your own mecha storyline with characters you create is awesome. (Gives me lots of great memories of my all-time favorite anime, Martian Successor Nadesico. Especially, the core changes.)
I did watch a few episodes of SSSS.Gridman on CrunchyRoll last night. It is an interesting take on the "Ultra" type shows. I see why they were interested in the modular nature of Diaclone. Not sure it is enough to make me want that set, though.
Anyway, hope to become an active member of the thread and thanks again for the invite @puma.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing images. I didn't know the SSSS.Gridman armor was going to work with Convoy... A bit more tempting.

The Gridman cross is very interesting, the core figure looks like it doesn't have double jointed knees and elbows like many other DR figures so that's a hit to some articulation. I want to love it, gives off major Super Sentai feels. I know nothing about Gridman but it reminds me of Ultraman.

I think BC V-MAX is way better and will hold me over quite well. I hope they do a Transformers Crossover fighter sometime soon ? Actually I'd love a Gundam Diaclone Reboot figure, Gridman is bandai right? So is Gundam and Gundam and Diaclone are quite similar in some basic ways

That is a photoshop. The V-Max figure is facing the camera at an angle and was imposed over one of the released Gridman photos we've already seen. Also V-Max isn't holding the sword; his hand is layered over it when the combined the image.

Oh, I didn't catch that on my phone screen. Thanks. So, will it attach to regular Diaclone mechs?

So it looks like the signature “parts sliding to different sections via a track” trick happens with the lower arm armor, that’s neat for sure

It is a Photoshop but there are pictures on the official site that show the armour having the same plug arrangement as the trivers mechs so yes it will be compatible.

The tracks in the wings also have teeth in them so I'm wondering if the fists spinning out in the animation will actually be in the toy.

Iirc, in Gridman the vehicles appear in a virtual reality construct so the pilot is also virtual I guess.
Begs the question of why it needs a core fighter though lol

Toy Galaxy just released a pretty timely video if anyone is interested in ancient 1990s history (related to Gridman).
