The shadow figure who took Lovehammer in exchange for giving Halfshell a second chance didn´t upgrade the pirates. It was Halfshell himself who upgraded himself and his crew after more or less testing the upgrades on Turtler and the Seacon drones.

 

You're right, they only took Lovehammer as a payment of sorts for helping save the Seacons when they were adrift in space.

 

I'm hoping for a Grand Galvatron situation where he's one of the limbs. Placing bets for Starscream Torso, Buster and Hydra, Lovehammer and a fouth guy using a Dinobot mold.

According to the TFWIKI it was the Golden Starscream on behalf of Primus, but I'm personally a bit skeptical about that. I don't remember any defining features in the shadow to hint at it.

 

So did anyone know that this foot mold had ratcheted forward and back ankle articulation?
(and less importantly that the toes come off?)

Unfortunately, that forward/back movement creates a combiner that falls over; had issues with Poseidon and Neptune.

 

Agree. Only improves aesthetics and did nothing for balance and stability.

Not expecting much from the upcoming new Volcanicus feet either.

 

When I had mine in combined mode it allowed stances other than just the basic A stance. Just have to adjust the hip ratchets appropriately to maintain balance.

 

Came to this party late. Got the four that are available on Pulse. Any expectation that Pulse will restock Tentakil and Overbite at this point? Or should I resign myself to eBay?

 

I like displaying my combiners with the leg bots extended to give the combiners extra height. Ive found that the forward and back tilt is perfect for doing this with the Tentakil mold because of the angled 5mm port on the top of the squid's head. I can just angle the joint and boom, no more tilt and its creates a straight leg.

Turtler looks pretty awesome. I think $59.99 is the leaderclass price point, but for combiners I thought Voyagers make up the chest/head area.
