JobbyTheHong is by far my favorite personality. I'll watch his videos of toys I already have just because he's so entertaining. I wish he'd release more often/regularly though. His output has kinda fallen off a cliff. Hope he's doin' okay.

I'm the newbiest of all newb "reivewers" (I'm not a full fledged reviewer yet, as I only review what I buy, hehe), but I had to do that to my most recent review for Transcraft. I figured one side was done, just zip to the end of the other side, snip snip. Still way too long for me in most instances, but I do like longer videos playing when I'm doing chores around the house.

    Apology Accepted

TBH I mean no real disrespect, I like what I like and don't like what I don't like. Apparently I'm in the minority in my opinion of you as evident by your subscriptions and view.

unless they're also watching you on mute. :)

Yeah, that Prime guy really likes the sound of his own voice, and he loves to sound intelligent too. But his reviews are pretty good.

Thew Adams is probably my favorite, but that's more due to him being less a reviewer and more a guy who just talks transformers.

purely Reveiw wise, Jobby and emgo are my favorites.

Favorites are Jobby, EmGo, Auvelier, Diatron and especially Thew. He seems like such an honest to goodness man.

Least favorites are Baltamatrix and BensCollectables. Mostly due to their voices. Balt sounds like the parody Eminem voice from Chris D'elia but more annoying, "Harrison Ford under the floor boards", ya know? And Ben. Uhm he. Talks like. This.

My go-tos are Emgo (his JTI videos have become indispensable for me), Thew and Jobby. They make good points and are also entertaining. All of the others I enjoy watching from time to time. Nobody’s voice bothers me.

There’s really only one reviewer I cant stand, mostly because of the ridiculous juggalo-like facade and the fixation on Fanstoys product. I’m sure he puts a lot of effort into it, major props for that, but its not my thing at all.

I watch Peaugh because he was the first tf reviewer I ever saw way back when. At first I didn't like his almost monotone voice in the beginning, but it's improved.

I watch Optibotimus for the amount of content. Like that he takes making his reviews seriously. His kind of diva attitude was slightly annoying, but I can accept it. Probably mellowed a bit over the years.

Emgo for his enthusiasm, and the amount of content. He is just 'almost' annoying to me though.

Like, if one were to binge-watch his videos, you would just be hearing the same dozen catchphrases that he says in every video. It gets overwhelming, and I feel that he should try not to say 'all' of his trademark quotes in every video. Just say some of them here and there. Mix it up a bit, to help with the repetitiveness.

I liked Vangelus, but he doesn't do very many tf reviews anymore. His editing and camera movement really elevates his work.

    Thew's videos are just awesome.

Jobby is good, but he is annoying to me. Just crossing that thin line. Same with Shartimus.

Prime vs Prime needs to add some silence in between sentences. I feel out of breath, whenever I watch one of his vids.

Other mentions: Skullface, Patriot Prime, Felzbug

Thew could read the nutritional facts off the back of a box of oatmeal and it would be the most entertaining thing I’ve heard all day. Same with Jobby, although he is not quite as wholesome. Both are great at what they do and are probably my favorite YT reviewers.

    Honorable mentions include:

The Lazy Eyebrow - his stop motion reviews are fantastic! You can tell he puts a lot of effort into the production of each review he puts out.

Dr Lockdown - each review feels like a labor of love. His style feels like an amalgamation of a lot of different reviewers’ styles but he finds a way of making it unique.

Ben’s Collectables - he’s very “meat and potatoes” in his approach to reviewing, in the same vein as Peaugh, but I like his personality and laid back style. His on-screen transformations are very useful as well.

I like Ben because he's very calming, gets stuff frequently and early, and has very crisp filming. I really don't care if he goes soft on the reviews because I honestly don't watch the reviews for opinions as much as I watch them to get a detailed look at a figure to form my own opinion before buying.

Just don't use his videos for transformations. Got to love it when he just jump cuts a portion of the transformation. Man I was so confused when I was transforming Planet X Grimlock's tail using his video. Transforms one portion makes a point of saying there is no clearance issues, doesn't show the other part, which has one of the scariest moments in my transformer collecting experience.

He is a great previewer of figures, but I like reviewers who are more critical even when I don't agree with them. I definitely tune in for most of his videos. Outside of the transformation they are very good. I will say if you really want someone who is enthusiastic for figures watch Deluxe Baldwin.

For transformations I go with EMGO, Paik4life, and Tman978. For review/critique I watch a lot, but the reviewer I most value is Bobby Skullface. Even though I disagree with him on quite a few things. Plus if he does not break I know the figure is well built  .

    Bobby Skullface for actual reviews.
    Benscollectables for showcasing.
    Emgo for transformation tips.
    Jobby for humour.

@Cardboard Bots has become one of my favorites lately. The skill, humor and love that he puts into his reviews amazes me.

Most people have short attention span... The shorter, funny and informative the video, the better. That's what Jobbythehong does and works for him...

I prefer a more detailed longer review when deciding whether to buy a toy or not.
