    MUST FUCKING HAVE!!

Well, now that this has been officially announced. I'll be prepping my original version of Genesis for sale. Comes 100% complete, 100% in condition, along with original box, instructions and all LEDs (still intact), and both tank heads. Even has a reprolabel Cybertronian glow faction symbol on him. Drop me a PM for pricing.

I'm perfectly happy with my original version. I've had it for years, and he's still an awesome presence with my collection. But it's cool they're launching a metallic version. If anyone is on the fence thinking about it, get one.

Seriously--I've always been impressed with how they got the alt mode down, and all the fun fan modes we've been able to get out of him!

Siege Omega Supreme is perfect, but it's too big for me, so I bought Genesis. It's bigger than other CW Combiners, but I think it's a better choice than Siege to display with Combiners.

A most excellent choice. I still have mine, and I was gifted the light set and alternate head. Still love this guy to this day. Not "G1," but so amazingly accurate to the subject matter. Omega is one of the few parts-forming exceptions to my rule by his very nature, even with his new mode (if only because you can still get the rocket and base station out of him).

Speaking to your point, if someone made a more G1-esque Omega Supreme at about this height (and he should be taller than combiners, really), I'd be all over it. I appreciate Titan Omega, but he is too big.

Has anyone received the Metallic version yet? I saw that Robotkingdom had stock but I haven’t seen any reviews or in hand pictures. I was going to preorder on BBTS for $250, but I’m unsure if it’s even getting a release. Any info would be appreciated.

The metallic version supposedly comes with both head-tanks. Any chances we can see photos of the other head?

I remember playing with this guy a lot when he first came out. Balancing him in any kind of pose was terrifying, and some parts of transformation were concerning. My only regret is not getting the face add on.

Finally found a single review of the metallic version. Reportedly it’s much sturdier than previous iterations. Looks good and the paint used appears to be well applied and appears to hold up well during transformation with little to no scratches on the paint.

Here you go. Quality isn’t the best but it’s the only one I’ve been able to find so far.

People sometimes ask what older toys need an upgrade kit - I think I see an obvious one here - he needs a clear plastic face shield.

Is BBTS crazy, or is this the actual MSRP? TFSource isn't carrying this one for whatever reason.

Well the actual MSRP is about 475 after tax I’d assume. Planet X figures usually go on discount there pretty quickly. Either way, I jumped on it. It’ll come out to $275-$280 shipped for me. Just a matter of when now.

Is there an upgrade kit for the elbows and shoulder?I have the original release from when it first came out and have always been disappointed with the detents used in the arms.

Yup. I jumped right on that too, and managed to sell enough of my figures in my latest collection-trimming to justify it. I've put off owning this figure for too long, and with that metallic finish, at THAT price? There was no way I was going to pass on it again.

Looks like BBTS just got the metallic and the original into stock.
    That metallic one looks crisp.

    PX-01 Project Genesis (Metallic Ver.)

I tightened a lot of thing on my original run. Opened everything up. Stretched springs, additional plastic shavings behind the ratchet, etc. Some parts had to be loosened.
All good afterwards. Solid design, poor assembly on the original run. I found a blue one recently an the metallic is on the way. Hope they don't require as much work but it was kind of fun fixing it up.
